"Shaun will be the third pet sitter I hired for my very senior cat, Nafu. The first pet sitter wasn’t the most responsive though I did retain his services for 3 engagements. I discontinued because he ran into financial difficulties and asked me to buy a package deal. The second was God send, responsive but preferred to come in the night time. He disappeared and was not contactable I was trying to engage him this round, despite taking a deposit from a previous cancelled engagement.
Shaun responded to my call after the first two turned down. He was responsive and sent me daily updates, and he also chose to come before 6 pm which is my preferred timing. The cat also developed more endearment to him, mid-way through the engagement. Overall, I would recommend Shaun as a responsible pet sitter and he would tell you what he did for the day, together with a photo update.

"Mariko's profile is accurate, she really is a dog whisperer who instantly connected with my 4 year old Chow Chow! After using pawshake for 4 years, I have finally found a proper, highly disciplined, trust worthy, reliable, loving and consistent care taker for my fur pal. Mariko went above and beyond her duties in taking care of my Chow, gave him Japanese strawberries, mangoes, and raspberry treats. She spent a lot of extra time and effort to look after him and train him the right way! My Chow is finally at peace and happy with his care taker when I am away, not only that - he gets to go to all sorts of nice places to hang out and meet new pals. "Nina is a perfect dog and house sitter. She just finished up an extended house / dog sitting stay at my landed house. She gave regular updates and photos of the dogs, just enough to know they were safe and taken care of, but not too many to be overbearing. I have 2 older, but still medium energy, big dogs and she had no problems with their walks (twice a day) and meds. She is also very flexible with scheduling.
I felt completely comfortable with her in my house. She even asked before bringing a friend over for a movie night (which of course was a yes).
I arrived home after nearly two weeks to a completely clean, well kept house and two happy, healthy dogs (and plants).
My only hesitation recommending Nina is that she might be busy with another client next time I need to travel. :) I will 100% be reaching out to her again.

"From the very beginning, communication with Sze Ping was smooth and easy.
I was a bit nervous about hiring a pet sitter as it was the first time (when we were living in Belgium, our friends used to take care of our cats).
Sze Ping visited our place before we left for holidays, so that we could show him around and introduce him to our kitties. It also made me more comfortable to meet him in person as I could see that he was very reliable and a cat lover.
He took good care of them while we were away, sending me pictures every day... It was great to know that my cats were in good hands while we were so far away for so long!
