Hi, I’m Becky and I am looking for a flexible job doing what I love, which is taking care of animals! Not only do I love being around animals and interacting with them, I also have a lot of animal experience to assure you that your pet will be in great hands! 

Experience

UK

During my studies, I walked two dogs (aged 5 and 1) consistently for 6 months in the UK and have also walked and helped train a 4 month year old German shepherd for 4 months. Whilst doing various adhoc walks and pet sits of all ages and breeds, including small animals and cats.

Singapore

I also have previous experience of nearly 2 years dog walking and handling under a reputable dog sitter in Singapore that also offers services on Pawshake. I looked after 5-10 dogs each day where I ensured they were enriched through play and training, they were groomed and brushed and their needs were met (walking, feeding, watering) whilst interacting with owners and updating them on their dog and ensuring all surfaces were sanitary.

I have 2 rescue dogs of my own which I have cared for (feeding, bathing, walking (both flexible and standard leads) etc) every day for the past 6 years. One of which is extremely nervous and timid, especially towards humans and sometimes other dogs, therefore I know first-hand, how to handle and meet anxious dogs. Although I look rather small, I'm stronger than I look!! As both my dogs fall into the 20kg-40kg category, I have no problem handling dogs of all sizes!

Additionally, I have experience in cat sitting and the requirements and needs of a cat such as feeding, cleaning its litter tray, brushing and enriching them through play.

And lastly, have looked after hamsters and guinea pigs for month-long periods therefore I understand what that entails. 

Therefore, I feel like I am able to take care of a large range of pets, both small and big.

My services include...

Pet walking - I will come around, greet the pet and take them out on a walk.

Pet check-ups - I will come around to your house at the requested time, take the pet for a walk, fill up the water bowl (and food if applicable) and spend time with your pet, playing/petting, whichever it prefers!

Pet sitting - I would come to your house and look after your pet for however long is required and care for it (walking, feeding, washing, brushing etc) - whichever the owner has asked to do. Please note, if you would like me to 'groom' your pet, I'm only able to brush and wash it, I can't do its paws. 

** I'm not available for housing dogs at my house however I'm more than happy to come to yours and pet sit, check on or simply walk your pet. **
