About Me

I'm currently doing my undergraduate in 'Animal Biology Behaviour Welfare and Ethics', so I have an immense interest in understanding animals.

I adore dogs and have lots of experience working with their different personalities. Growing up I had the sweetest golden retriever, and now I have a Singapore Special (Nala) who is predisposed to fear so I am working with her to build her confidence. I have identified numerous locations that are more secluded for fearful dogs to ensure that they are more comfortable during walks. I also have practice with long leash training to start teaching dogs basic recall.

I have been providing dog walking and daycare services in both Singapore and London. Back in Singapore, I volunteered with a dog shelter for over a year where I got the opportunity to further develop my skill of interacting and walking dogs of all shapes and sizes and with various behavioural tendencies. Many dogs were timid and scared of vehicles, unknown people, some were reactive/selective towards other dogs or people and some were balls of energy! I have become apt at judging a dogs behaviour and adapting my interactions to suit them.

Dog walking

Allowing dogs to have long fulfilling walks can solve lots of behavioural problems and ensure that they are calmer at home. I always encourage positive reinforcement training and believe that giving animals choices is important to their happiness. I am patient with dogs and will give them time to sniff, while also making sure they get enough exercise and are always content during the walk. I can change the walk to suit the dog, more active dogs can be taken on runs, while elderly dogs may prefer a slower pace with more sniff work (finding treats in different areas to motivate them to move around).

Walks are usually 1h, but timings can be flexible to your preference

Doggy Day Care

I offer daycare for dogs to stay at my house if they need to be watched over during the day. I have 3 other housemates who are all also doing animal-related careers and are great with dogs.

What is included in the daycare?

Daycare bookings are 8 hours each (timings are flexible and can be discussed)

2 short walks (10-20min) + 1 long walk (1h)

Constant supervision throughout their stay

Access to the whole house, including the garden

Feeding and walking timings can be adjusted to follow your dog's usual schedule
