My sister and I recently adopted an adult toy poodle from VFA and we named her Kiwi! Even though I would really love to have a cat as well, my mother is deathly terrified of them. 🥲

Experience:

Dogs: My experience of walking dogs was mainly walking my uncle's Shetland Sheepdog. Sammy the Shetland Sheepdog was such a sweet and gentle dog which made walking him really easy. I tried volunteering at Mutts and Mittens once but it was overcrowded with volunteers during that period and quite far for me. So I stopped as it was not a productive situation. Although I do not have much experience with dogs, I would love to interact with them and learn more about dog keeping. Now that we adopted Kiwi, I hope to quickly adapt and learn more about caring for dogs.

Cats: I volunteered at the Kitten Sanctuary for more than 3 months. In which we had to clean the cages of adult cats and kittens, feed, groom and play with them. Grooming included bathing, clipping nails, and cleaning eyes and ears. Although it was tough volunteering on Friday nights, it was extremely rewarding to me seeing the fluff balls curled up in satisfaction after our shifts. I only stopped volunteering because of work and scheduling conflicts.

Although I do not have the most experience in pet sitting, I am excited to keep your pet entertained and safe while you are away on a vacation or engaged in something else.

Services:

- Home Visits ( 40mins to 1 hours, open to watering plants and getting mail as well.) Typical visits would include food and water bowl change, clearing of litter box for cats or walkies for dogs, and play time. I would spend more time playing with them if I can afford to do so.

-Dog Walking (20-30mins walks at a nearby lane or park)
