Hi there! We have been on pawshake as pet sitters as a family for 7 years now and it has given us immense joy to be able to have guest pups over at home with us.

We have 5 people at home - Grandma, myself, my partner, 2 helpers and our 14 year old miniature shih tzu, Ruffles. Occasionally my daughters, who are overseas (one of whom... started us on this journey) visits home.

We are all animal lovers and have had pets with us our whole lives. We treat any pet that comes over as our very own. There are no cages and no restrictions to where they can move around in the house. We have a landed property with a good amount of space for all pups to move around. We also have a large playpen for pups who need more time to get used with other guest pups before we put them together :) And in our house, pups will never be left alone - there will always be multiple people at home with them 24/7.

For all pups, we follow the schedule given to us by petparents as closely as possibly including walking times to ensure that they are comfortable. We are more than happy to bring pups out multiple times a day as needed (we walk pups twice a day minimum at the moment).

We are happy and comfortable to provide medications and care for pups as well. We also have multiple dog beds which ruffles is more than happy to share. Pups are welcome to sleep in any of the rooms with us or in the living room....

We send daily updates with pictures and videos.

We meet n greet every pup before accepting to ensure that the pups are comfortable with the staycation home.

It has been a great joy being on pawshake and being able to meet new people and pets often. We have had experiences with many different pups - those who are timid and later become comfortable, those who are very young and very energetic, pets who are blind/ deaf and need extra care and attention etc. the greatest joy comes when we see how comfortable a guest pup becomes with us and how happy and relieved their pet parent is and when pups remembers us and are excited to come back to our place. We aim to make our place feel like a second home/ vacation home for your pups while you are away and they are in our care and to make them as comfortable and happy as possible. Shower can be arranged at extra cost.

Daycare: Pick up and drop off within 12 -hour timeframe.

Boarding: Boarding is on a 24 hour basis with a grace period of 2 hours for pick-up, after which daycare has to be booked.
