Hello! I'm Eunice. I grew up interacting with the various pets that my uncle kept, which nurtured my love for our furry companions. I do wish I could have a pet of my own at home, but I cannot for various reasons. Instead, I volunteered at a dog shelter regularly and pet-sit both cats and dogs for 3+ years, though I have not in the past few years due to full-time work commitments. I'm excited to get back into caring for your lovely pets! ❤️ I hold a Certificate in Completion in Pet Care and Management (Companion Animals).

Meet and greet

I'll set up a first meeting with you a few days before you need me to pet-sit, preferably at your place. This first meeting is free and is necessary for me to understand your pet's details and needs. Some examples of details I require include amount and type of food, timing of feeding, address of your go-to vet, medicine/supplements that needs to be administered etc. This meeting also serves as a chance for your pet(s) to decide if they're comfortable with me as the pet-sitter, as well as a way for me to receive a copy of your house key/ entry method.

House visits

$30 per visit, +$10 for each additional cat/dog for the 4th pet and beyond, +$5 for each additional small pet (e.g. rabbit/hamster). I usually stay for about 1 hour to 1.5 hours per pet-sitting visit, and longer if you have more pets, your pet needs a walk, or if your pet still has lots of energy to spare. This is to ensure that there is enough buffer time between your pets' meals and play/exercise so as to prevent bloating.

The above fees are for the North-East area. For locations that are further from me, I charge an additional $5 for each visit. I greatly appreciate your understanding regarding the compensation required for my travel time and fees. 🙏🏼

During house visits, I can: 

• Provide food (wet/cooked/dry) and water, wash and clean the food and water bowls. Please advise supplements that need to be added to the food, if any. 
• Administer medicine orally (if required)
• Clean litter/ pee pads, clean soiled areas outside of the litter/ pee pads (if any)
• Brush your pet, clean their ears, cut their nails if they are receptive to such grooming
• Play with your pet
• Walk your pet (if requested) - Please note that if you have 2 or more dogs that require separate walking, there is an add-on fee of $10 per additional walk.
• Do simple training with your pet. Please share any commands or routines that they already know, and we can discuss what you would like me to work on. Please provide some kibble (can be part of their daily kibble amount) or some small treats if you'd like me to do so. 😊
• If you would like me to do some cleaning/ sweeping/ mopping of the parts of the house your pet frequents or if you would like me to give your pet a shower on certain days, do inform me during the first meeting!
• I can also help you to water your plants while I'm visiting.

I'll update you when I arrive and when I leave. During the visit, I'll send you pictures and/or videos regularly.

Walks

• $20 per walk, with each walk lasting about 30 minutes - 45 minutes. 
• If you have more than one pet that would like to have a walk, you can choose to request that I walk them all at the same time (only recommended for small breeds). Otherwise, I'll walk them separately (i.e. $20 per walk per pet). When I'm only walking one pet at a time, I can also do some simple training with your pet. Please provide some kibble (can be part of their daily kibble amount) or some small treats if you'd like me to do so. 😊
• If your dog is reactive (e.g. to people, other animals, etc), I'll definitely need to have some kibble or treats on hand during the walk to do engagement exercises with your dog.
• Please provide litter bags and wipes for cleaning your pet's paws.
