I‘ve been working as a full-time veterinary nurse since June 2014, so I've spent a fair amount of time nursing animals from hamsters and rabbits, to all sizes of cats and dogs! I am currently pursuing my Cert IV in Vet Nursing, which is part of the reason why I'm doing this, besides my passion for helping animals, but also to earn some income to fund my education, as I want to gain more knowledge about my field of interests i.e small animal nursing, as well as emergency and critical care.

As a Fear-Free certified professional, I do my best to provide the most comfortable care for your pet, in the least stressful way. Procedures such as nail clipping, ear cleaning, expressing anal glands, cleaning of wounds and bandaging, feeding oral /injecting medications and administration of subcut fluids for renal patients, are some of the tasks I do on an almost daily basis at work, so rest assured that I know what I am doing! I also see all sorts of patients at work, the nervous ones and also the aggressives one, so I know how to deal with such situations. Not only do I want to help care for the animals, I also want to help pet parents feel reassured that they're not alone in helping their pets recover, and that they can skip the hassle and stress of transporting their pets out of their comfort zones, but still be able to give their pets the medical care they deserve.

I have 2 cats of my own, Raikou and Mew, I named them after Pokemons cos I've always dreamt of becoming a Pokemon trainer myself! Raikou was rescued off the street, I've had him since he was a mere 500g kitten. However he grew up to be quite the aggressive cat, which just means I've got the training and experience needed to deal with your feisty furkids! Mew was adopted from SPCA, to be Raikou's friend. She's extremely playful and loves playiing fetch!

I am looking to be doing this long-term, as this means I can get interaction with other animals, more of dogs (till I get my own one in future). And when I get my own place, I look forward to doing pet boarding at my own crib!
