I had a pet dog who was with me for 16 amazing years, and those years were some of the most fulfilling in my life. He wasn’t just a pet; he was family. Growing up with him taught me what unconditional love truly means and deepened my appreciation for animals. My love for pets is genuine and heartfelt, and I’ve always found comfort and happiness in their companionship. Unfortunately, I can’t have a pet at home right now because my parents are older, and they wouldn’t be able to manage the responsibilities that come with having one. While I respect their situation, I still feel a strong need to be around animals because they bring me so much joy. That’s why I’ve decided to channel my love for them in a different way, by going out to care for and play with pets whenever I get the chance. Whether it’s volunteering, visiting friends with pets, or just spending time with animals in any setting, it fills a special place in my heart. I believe animals deserve all the love and care we can give them, and being able to connect with them reminds me of the pure and unspoken bond I once shared with my dog.

Recently acquired Ruby, my new pug as my new pet. Greeting us with happy barks and a lot of love. Home feels very wholesome.
