About me

Hello~ welcome to my profile! 👋🏼 I'm Tjin (👖 but without the 's'), and like everyone that is on Pawshake, I'm a huge dog lover. This can be attributed to my childhood where I grew up with lots of dogs while living with my grandparents for about 9 years. During this period, I have taken the dogs on walks, bathed them, played with them, prepared their meals & fed them, so I guess I have some form of experience before joining this platform.

I view pets as a part of the family and the ones I have taken care of & grew up with have brought me so much joy & comfort. However, after moving back in with my parents, I'm not allowed to have any pets 😪 Now the only chance I get to spend time with the doggos is when I visit my grandparents. They have 3 dogs currently; Juju is a 15 years old Shih Tzu, Louis is a 7 years old black Schnoodle and Cinnamon is a 4 years old Beagle. All of them are adopted.

I live in the Marine Parade/Katong area and in the evenings, I like to take a walk around the neighbourhood/to ECP. I started out on the platform offering dog walking as a part-time job as I was studying full-time. Have completed my course back in June 2022 and since then I've decided to do this full-time, offering dog walking, home visits and pet sitting (no overnight stay).

I am most comfortable with small & medium-sized dogs (~18kg). I have experience walking 2 - 3 small-sized dogs per walk but for medium-sized dogs, I will only be able to manage 1 per walk. Going for a walk is one of the most important part of a dog's day and I want to ensure every dog I walk gets adequate attention & the best care I can offer 😃 

I take bookings both on and off the platform. To ensure you get a booking at the timing you prefer, it will be best to contact me a week in advance. For same day booking, please contact me at least 3 hours in advance. If you have any enquiries (general/about my availability), please don't hesitate to drop me a message.

Your pets need playtime and I have free time~ I hope to hear from some of y'all soon 😊

Services

1) Dog Walking

Available for dog walking from 8am - 730pm daily (even on public holidays). Last slot is at 7pm.

Preferably in the Marine Parade/Katong/Siglap area, and each walk will be 30 minutes long.

If your pupper(s) need a walk at a timing later than 7pm, feel free to check in with me! If you live nearby and I don't have dinner plans, I would love to walk them 😄 

If you're looking for a walker to walk your pupper(s) regularly, do check with me for the rates!

For same day booking, please contact me at least 3 hours before the walk eg. for a 7pm walk, please contact me by 4pm. On some days I'm not on my phone much, this helps to ensure I have sufficient time to get to the messages 🙏🏼

2) Home Visit

For each home visit you can expect:

- A stay for a max of 1 hour.

- Feed, play & engage with the furkid(s).

- Let the pupper(s) out into the backyard OR a short 10 minutes walk downstairs.

- Change pee pads/scoop the litter box or clean up any accidents.

- Collecting mail and taking out the garbage (if required).

Most of my experience is with looking after dogs but I'm open to taking care of cats/other animals as long as you don't mind teaching me what needs to be done 😃

Price includes the care of up to 2 - 3 pets.

3) Daytime Pet Sitting

Someone to look after your furkids while you are on a day trip or spending some time away with family/friends.

Each pet sitting booking will be $50 for a stay of 5 hours.
