Hola there, my name is Pearlyn, and I love being around animals and caring for them.

I work as a mental health professional and have also been pet-sitting since 2022. Since then, I have been privileged to journey with clients whose animal companions have challenges such as epilepsy, slipped disc, separation anxiety, trauma and autism.

I also have more than 7 years of experience partnering animals (specially horses) in my professional therapeutic work.

Being a fellow pawrent myself to a special/high-needs kitty, I understand how it feels like to be able to get reliable, professional and friendly assistance. Therefore, when I can, I'd love to be able to offer my support to pawrents who need them.

I'm able to support you through these areas mainly:
1. Pet-sitting/House visits for both your big/small animal companions (includes playing, feeding, brushing, cleaning) -- $35 for 1-hour visit, $20 for every additional hour
2. Dog-walking -- $30 for 30-40 minute walk
3. Manual expression of the bladder if your cat is incontinent -- rates to be discussed

My approach in interacting with animals -- mutual respect, compassion, curiosity, and lots of love. Your babies will be cared for and loved just as if they were my own :)

I am also always respectful of all pet owners; I believe that they know what's best for their pet and always do what they can with what they have, so as a pet-sitter, I'm very aware of my role and am mindful to respect and follow the instructions given.

KINDLY NOTE
1. The rates provided are for locations < 4km of my vicinity. Locations beyond 4km can be discussed and will include an additional transportation fee.
2. House-sitting rates are for a period of up to 6 hours. Do note that I currently do not provide 24hr house-sitting as I have a special needs cat that requires my care too.
