SOMETHING ABOUT ME I always have a love for dogs since young but it was only during my National Service (NS) when I was posted to the Military Working Dog Unit that I realised that my dream of spending much time with dogs came true. It was there that I really saw that dogs can be the most loyal, sensitive, friendly and loving companions one could ever wish for. I spent around 1.5 years with my dogs during my NS stint. I rose through the ranks and became my Shift and Standard In-charge because of my high level of discipline and standard in dog handling as well as an affinity, care and love for the dogs. The skills I acquired during that time made it easy for me to familiarise, build a bond with and handle my girlfriend's and friends' dogs. After I completed my NS in early 2021, I really missed those time spent with my dogs and I wanted to carve out time to spend with new canine friends. I decided that being a pet sitter provided me with this perfect opportunity. I am currently a freshman in SUTD so my weekdays may be quite packed. However, I'll gladly make time during the weekends to find dog-walking opportunities, giving my 101% attention and care to your dogs. Fret not, I won't be on my mobile phone as going to the big outdoors with them is such a bliss for me. And, I will return your dogs to you safely and happy!

EXPERIENCE I have been tasked to care for the well-being and trained in the handling of dogs. This includes walking, basic obedience training, grooming, cleaning and bathing dogs. I am also experienced in medical treatment and care, cleaning and dressing of wounds which requires great care and proper hygiene. I am also well equipped with the knowledge of monitoring dogs’ behaviour and physical condition for signs that require intervention; making sure the dogs are in a happy and healthy condition. With 1.5 years of cleaning dogs’ businesses, bringing them to exercising grounds and washing kennels, I am pretty adept at cleaning up and caring for their hygiene; a task which most people may find unpleasant. I take pride that I am able and responsible to handle almost all types of dogs of all sizes as I have handled many different breeds of dogs. From dogs as small as a Mini Pomeranian, Poodles to the likes of Labradors, German Shepherds and Malinois. (I lean towards a heavily built.) Regardless of size, breed, age or gender, I promise that I'll be able to quickly connect and shower your beloved pets which as much Tender Loving Care that I can give.

SERVICES I am able to do dog walks, home visits and house sitting. Preferably around Katong, Marine Parade and Mountbatten area. Dog walks duration can range from 15-45 mins depending on preference and need. Starting price for dog walks is $15 and is dependent on location. I have experience handling and walking multiple dogs and is more than happy and capable to walk more than 1 dog. During the walks, I am also able to play (e.g. fetch) dogs or going for a short jog if required.

For home visits and house sittings, the duration can be for the whole day if required depending on my availability. I am also able to help in meal preparation, basic grooming, bathing and bringing them out for walks.
