About Me

I'm an alumna of the Royal Veterinary College (Continuing Professional Development Program). Animals feel happy and safe around me! My service areas are Orchard (eg. Cairnhill, Emerald Hill, Mount Elizabeth, Ion, Parksuites, Nassim, Napier) and Somerset (eg. Centrepoint, Orchard Point, 111, 313). Special arrangements can be made for excursions to East Coast Park, Gardens by the Bay, Botanic Gardens, Sentosa or other designated locations. Published rates are for my service areas, and may be adjusted for further distances and duration pending on the feasibility of bookings.

Bookings for long-term/daily/ongoing walks for 2024 and 2025 are now open. Please drop me a message to explore and discuss!

My normal available walking times are 6am-10am and 4pm-9pm on weekdays and weekends. But do let me know if you may have other arrangements in mind. We can explore!

Meet N Greet: If a Meet N Greet is not fulfilled or responded to within one week of your initial enquiry (unless otherwise arranged), it will be assumed that you have found alternative solutions for your needs, so I shall proceed to close your enquiry even if I may initially reply that I am available for the services requested. This is so I don't double hold dates or bug you for an update. :)

Rainy Weather Plan: Dog walks normally continue if it is only drizzling, unless otherwise requested or if lightning and thunder are present. For the safety of your dogs and mine, both outdoor and indoor dog walks will be canceled during moderate showers, heavy rain and storms regardless of the presence of lightning and thunder, as ground water and seepage may cause slips and falls. Canceled dog walks due to rainy weather may be re-sequenced to another time on the same day or rescheduled to another day, both pending availability.

Refunds: Since the Pawshake platform does not provide/process a refund once a booking is made, in the very rare event where a refund is requested and agreed by both parties, the refund amount will be processed via PayNow minus Pawshake's platform fees.

Dog Obedience, Agility and Sports

(1) I am experienced in handling ex-police dogs, civilian dogs, senior dogs and pups, according to principles of canine behaviour. Aside to the usual dog walking, if desired by owners, I can stimulate dog agility and dog sports based on the dog's level of fitness and interest. Dog breeds I have handled include Husky, Border Collie, Shetland Sheepdog, Shiba Inu, Corgi, Labrador, Beagle, Golden Retriever, Weimaraner, Chihuahua, French Bull Dogs and Singapore Specials!

Animal Rehabilitation and Therapy

(2) I provide rehab, therapy and hospice care for dogs and cats using a mix of comfort facilitation such as hydro therapy, massages and rubs, hug therapy (yes it works!), companionship and conversations. I also work with animals that have physical disabilities. I received my Certificate in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for Veterinary Nurses at the Animal Rehab Health Academy.

Equine Care and Stable Management 

(3) I'm an equestrian with over 5 years of experience in horse welfare and stable management. I currently volunteer at a local equine-facility for horse wellness and grooming as shown in my animal album.

Exotic Pet Care and Habitat Management 

(4) I specialise in the care and handling of exotic pets, specifically crustaceans (i.e. crabs, crayfishes) and gastropods (i.e. snails). The exotic animals you see in my animal album are my pets, and I have trained them to be well handled. All have had successful molts and healthy growth.

Small Mammal Care and Habitat Management 

(5) Additionally, I also specialise in the care and handling of small mamals, including hamsters, rabbits and guinea pigs. I currently have 2 pet hamsters (adopted at different times) which I raised since they were just 6 weeks old. They are now century-old rodents in human years!

I am a wildlife advocate, and participate in ocean animal rescues.

The strangest thing is that I haven't had the chance to have a pet cat! Nevertheless, I enjoy innovative play with cat and kitten clients. Check out the cute cats in my album!
