Hi there!

My name is Tamzin, and I’m a 34-year-old stay-at-home dog mom based in Newton. I grew up in an empathetic, animal-loving family where almost everyone has either a dog or cat — we treat them like our own children! It’s hard to put into words how much I adore animals, and I’d love to help out fellow fur parents who need an extra hand.

I have plenty of free time, which I mostly spend walking and caring for my sweet 4-year-old Dachshund, Linguine. I'm more than happy to walk your dog or host them at my home. Your pup will have lots of fun playing with Linguine — and I can walk them together or separately, depending on how they get along.

I’ve previously walked and pet-sat for my neighbors and friends. The longest I’ve looked after a dog was for two weeks — it was an absolute pleasure!

Here’s a little more about my home and care setup:

• I live in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in Newton with my husband.

• We have plenty of space for your fur baby to run and play indoors.

• I provide a few dog beds, but you’re welcome to bring your dog’s crate or bed if preferred.

• Linguine sleeps in bed with me — and I’m happy to let your baby do the same, if that’s what they’re used to!

• We have pet-safe steps for the bed and couch to protect little backs (especially important for small breeds).

• I'm home all day and can supervise your dog 24/7, though they may be left alone for up to 1–2 hours in case of errands or emergencies.

• We’re just a 10-minute walk from a vet and surrounded by green spaces and fields — perfect for play and exercise.

A few important notes:

• I can board one dog at a time

• I prefer caring for smaller dogs.

• It would be ideal if your dog is vaccinated and neutered (though Linguine is not neutered, he is very friendly and used to all kinds of dogs).

• I’m also able to administer oral medication if needed.
