I am a Year 4 Animal Science and Animal Behaviour student who has loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Singapore, I was always surrounded by pets, including fish, terrapins, rabbits, hamsters, and fancy rats. Now, I care for my 15-year-old Maltipoo, who is blind and deaf, which has given me firsthand experience in looking after senior pets with special needs.

Beyond personal pet care, I have dedicated many years to working and volunteering with animals. At Mandai Wildlife Reserve and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in Singapore, I gained extensive experience handling and caring for a wide variety of animals. At the SPCA, I was in charge of the adoption gallery, ensuring that small animals, cats, and dogs were well cared for before finding their forever homes. My daily responsibilities included cleaning enclosures, preparing meals, providing enrichment, and walking dogs.

I am looking for an opportunity where I can continue doing what I love—caring for animals—while also gaining more hands-on experience. With my background in animal care, handling, and enrichment, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable, especially when they are away from their owners.
