Hello! My name is Chloe and I'd love to help you care for your dog and/or cat. I grew up with dogs (since I was three!) and cats, and have an immense love for animals. I recently lost my golden retriever and my tabby cat, and I'm looking to do some dog walking and dog/cat sitting to spend more time with animals while I'm taking a career break. 

Training/certification:

I am certified in Low Stress Handling® - Silver Level (a RACE, IAABC and CCPDT approved certification) developed by animal behaviourist pioneer, Dr Sophia Yin. Low Stress Handling emphasises care, safety and trust, and reduction of fear and anxiety, and covers training, behavioural modification, and handling skills for cats and dogs. I am committed to treating each animal with the utmost care, empathy and patience so that they feel comfortable and less fearful with each interaction I have with them.

Areas covered:

I am based around Tanglin, and am happy to cover the surrounding areas for dog walking/pet sitting (e.g., Tanglin, Orchard, Redhill, Queenstown, River Valley). Please do message me if you're a bit further away and I'll see if I can fit it in :).

My experience with dogs:

I have experience caring for both large and small dogs of all ages - I had golden retrievers, a jack russell, a jack russell/chihuahua mix, a toy fox terrier, and a couple of lovely stray dogs in the family. I nursed my golden retriever through the last two years of his life when he had cancer, so I am comfortable administering medication (with non-agressive dogs). I also used to volunteer at a dog shelter and worked as a dog walker while I was a student in the Netherlands. 

My experience with cats:

My family adopted three stray cats that we found (on different occasions) when they were kittens, and I have experience caring for cats. My oldest cat just passed away a month ago at 17, and my other two cats (ages 4 and 12) are currently living with my parents. 

I'd be delighted to help you care for your dogs and/or cats when work/life gets too busy. I'm also happy to check in on your dogs and/or cats daily when you're away on holiday, and I will treat your home with care and respect. I will send daily updates along with pictures of your loved ones for your peace of mind. Daily duties such as feeding, walking, playing/interacting, and clearing of pee/poo/litterbox are not an issue - please let me know whatever else you might need help with.

I will schedule a meet and greet before taking on a job, and ask you a couple of questions about your lovely pet to ensure that I care for them as best as I can.
