My husband Andy and I have been providing dog boarding and home care for many years and usually only through recommendations. We have three girls of our own, and the household is just two of us with our helper. Both my husband and I work in the day but the live-in helper is at home 24 hours a day. We are home every evening and take our dogs for a walk each evening. At any point, we can take up to two doggies in for homestay, be it long or short term, or even a weekend. We are usually available for boarding most days unless there is already another dog boarding with us.

We have two small gardens totalling 1600sq ft that are fenced and fully secured where the dogs run free. We have not seen a tick or flea in the last 5yrs+ and would require anyone who boards with us to bathe your dog and then Frontline your dog at least 3-5 days before arriving. We need to protect the space for all the doggies and future home stays.

As our common practice, we do ask that you bring your dog over one evening or weekend to get acquainted with ours. We also need them to get along fine and cannot risk them fighting. When you arrive, you can then advise of any special needs and we can also show you what we feed our dogs, which would be available to yours too.

Doggie who stay overnight with us sleeps in an air conditioned bedroom on a dog bed with thick bedspreads.

For stays longer than 5 days, we will bathe the dog and also take them on a 20-minute walk every day if you are in agreement. Long term boarding is also possible and we can discuss details when we meet.

Typically, our rates are as below:

Overnight Boarding

For dogs 20kg and below:

1-14 days : $60/day/dog, additional dog at $40/day

15 days above : $50/day/dog, additional dog at $35/day

For dogs 21kg and more:

1-14 days : $80/day/dog, additional dog at $60/day

15 days above : $60/day/dog, additional dog at $40/day

*Pick-up and drop off service can be arranged for overnight boarding at a rate of $35 per trip.

Daycare

For dogs 20kg and below:

- $40/day/dog, additional dog at $25/day

For dogs 21kg and more:

- $60/day/dog, additional dog at $40/day

All this includes home cooked human food: organic Brown rice, three different kinds of vegetables rotated every week, small dash of Marmite for taste, mineral and sodium, mince pork, one small pork soft bone. We rotate with beef or lamb once every few weeks in place of the pork.

If you are doing an overnight boarding with us, one multi-vitamin appropriate for the weight of your dog every morning. There will be two meals everyday.

We have been feeding our girls this balanced diet since day 1 and their coat and skin has been superb.We do not serve any fish or chicken or small bones.
