Quick Introduction

Hey there, we're Terry & Wenxin. 👋 We're both Singaporeans in our 40s working in tech. Also loving owners of 2 late schanuzers who just crossed the rainbow bridge after 18 wonderful years with us. Now that we have some time on our hands, we'd love to devote our love to other dogs to see where this new season takes us.

🏡 Our Environment:

We live and work from a cosy black-and-white colonial home located on a small hilltop near Braddell. It's the same home where our dogs once spent their days doing zoomies, sunbathing, and chasing squirrels and butterflies. Our home is thoughtfully designed for dogs. Fuzzyard beds and cushions line the floor, feeding stands adjustable to every height, a pee tray always ready for indoor potty time, baby gates to draw safe boundaries, toys await in a wooden crate, a shelf dedicated for treatos and a first-aid kit on standby. Our garden is alive with squirrels, birds, and butterflies, a calm escape for curious noses. Our neighbourhood is quiet, surrounded by towering trees, and filled with dog-loving neighbours who also love meeting new furry friends.

🫶 Our Way Of Loving Your Dog:

● One-To-One, Exclusive & Personalised Care: We're a team of 2 and only accept up to 1 dog at a time (with an exception for 2 dogs if they're from the same household). This means your dog gets our undivided attention, custom feeding, walks at preferred times, and cuddles on demand. Fewer dogs also mean lower exposure to kennel cough, ticks, and stress from other dogs. We’re super hands-on and have never relied on a live-in helper. Your dog will be personally cared by the two of us because we see your dog's well-being as our responsibility.

● Peaceful Retreat Centered Around Nature: Our colonial home is calm, cosy and surrounded by nature. We’re an active couple who walk about 5-10km daily. We’d love for your dog to join our routine if you like. Our home sits right in the middle of a quiet park on a small hilltop, with Kallang River and a few other parks just a stone's throw away. We also spend a lot of time in our garden where plants, squirrels, birds and butterflies thrive alongside our 8 pet chickens. We collect fresh eggs each day, a blessed gift from nature that we enjoy and would love to share with your dog.

● 18 Years Of Experienced Care From Puppyhood To Seniors & Special-Needs Dogs: We understand dogs of all sizes and breeds, and are experienced with dogs from playful puppyhood to gentle senior years. We also have hands-on experience caring for dogs with medication or special diet needs. Our late dogs suffered from pancreatitis, cancer, kidney and liver diseases due to old age. We understand the care and medication needed that require patience, a gentle touch and a loving heart. 

● Frequent & Prompt Communication: We value clear and open communication so it comes naturally to us to communicate well. You can expect daily photo and video updates through a group chat so you can stay close to your dog even from afar.

❤️ Our Heart Behind This:

We’re not a commercial operation designed to look like home boarding. It’s our personal home for years and your dog will live with us and be cared like our own. We recognise that caring for other dogs is a deeply personal choice and it's a meaningful responsibility for us. After losing our 2 beloved dogs, we’ve found healing in caring for other dogs in our home. Your dog will be loved and cared for as if they are our own.

Before your request is confirmed, we'd like to invite you to fill out a short questionnaire so we can tailor our care to your dog’s unique needs. We also ask for a day care / boarding trial to ensure all parties, including your dog feel completely comfortable before the actual boarding. It’s also an opportunity for you to visit our home and meet us in person so there are no surprises as your vacation approaches. We see this as an important step in building a trusting, lasting partnership.
