I'm a Shih Tzu and toddler mum who works from home - during the day our spacious condo is all set up for doggo fun while my little one is at preschool. We have plenty of dog beds, a soft play area with a pet shelter (or kiddy climbing frame) and cuddles to share.

I have experience pet sitting for smaller dogs and caring for those with skin, eye and ear issues - regular cleaning and application of eye/ear drops is no problem! Am open to taking care of medium dogs as well.

We have tried expensive dog boarding where our special furbaby wasn't given the care they need even with very specific instructions - we joined Pawshake to offer an alternative that is closer to a home environment, to reduce stress that can make dogs depressed or aggressive in your absence.

Doggy daycare:

- no more than 2 dogs in the home at any time, your doggo and mine

- Able to do 20-30 min walks morning and evening, prefer not to walk at noon but can play for exercise during lunch hours or take out for bio breaks if they only go on grass

- There are pet friendly cafes nearby that I go to if your dog likes attention or people watching! also near a pet lovers centre if you need me to grab any necessary items or extra food.

- all meals can be heated up or prepared as long as no pork, and your dog will have their own filtered water fountain or room temp boiled water at mealtimes (refreshed 3 times a day). Digital weighing scale available if you need kibble or freeze dried food portioned out for meals.

- someone is usually home so your doggo will never be left alone for more than 2 hours if boarding and not at all during daycare. Our living area has CCTV for monitoring while we are out.

- doggos are welcome to roam all common living space and can have both dog as well as extra human bedding like daily clean doormats or blankets if they prefer. You can also request for their personal items to be washed and dried after their stay at no extra cost - we use Cloversoft laundry pods which is pet safe and no fabric softener, since it can irritate both dog/human skin.

- playpen arrangement can be set up in case your dog likes to mark, sleep in a crate like setting or needs to be separated from ours. Square or large rectangle 2 by 1.5metres is possible for plenty of space in well ventilated and indoor sunlight dining area we use mainly for toy storage.

I miss having more dogs around the house and our Shih Tzu isn't the active kind, so your furbaby will get lots of attention based on their specific needs. We have fostered and adopted older dogs too, and are open to any dogs needing a helping hand while you're working or away from home.

A few house rules:

- our household is pork-free so I won't be able to heat up or serve pork - we are ok to heat up or serve other proteins for your pet

- we care for your pups 8am - 8pm, so do drop off and pick up during these hours or let me know if you need me to come to you (GrabPet charges not included)

- marking isn't a dealbreaker, but biting is. If your dog has any specific behaviours, we are open to learning - please help us love your dog too! 

- Our Shih Tzu is antisocial and neutered so we will separate dogs if need be. We can also set up a play pen if your dog has sight/hearing issues or gets stuck in small spaces while roaming.

- We are pretty chill when it comes to most playful puppy or dog behaviours - we keep floors well cleaned and don't mind mopping up pee and poop accidents. If your dogs like to chew or enjoy certain items as toys (no judgment, our dog likes weird things too) just let us know if we should keep them away for safety reasons.

- If your doggo is used to children or a small family household, and exploring freely or resting peacefully outside of a crowded traditional dog boarding setting, this is a great place for them to enjoy a staycation while you are away!

- we would prefer that your dog has all standard vaccinations and is on heartworm medication like Nexgard etc. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
