Caring for animals has always brought me joy and lifted my spirits, and pet sitting allows me to share that happiness with others. For me, looking after a pet is more than just making sure they are fed and walked—it’s also about giving their owners peace of mind so they can enjoy their time away without worry. I see it as an act of care for both the pet and the owner, creating trust and comfort on both ends.

Since my beloved kampong dog passed away two years ago, I’ve missed having the company of furry friends. That’s one of the reasons I decided to become a pet sitter. Over the years, I’ve gained experience not only with my own dog but also with the dogs of friends and families I’ve lived with. While staying overseas, I shared a home with two dogs who had very different personalities, and both quickly warmed up to me. I’ve walked and cared for both small and large dogs and feel confident handling their different needs. Friends often tell me they’re surprised at how naturally their pets connect with me.

Im currently unemployed so I am available throughout the day. I am not trained in any way, but have a lot of experience of caring for different type of dogs. Since I took care of my own dog into his old age, I know how to administrate medication for pets through food. I would groom my own dog by brushing his hair regularly while on walks, so I can do the same for your dog.

For walking, I can walk your dog for up to two hours at a time. Again, it is really dependent on your dogs needs. If your dog gets tired easily, I will take breaks in the shade until they cool down! If your dog is very active, a long walk will do them good. I can walk your dog aorund your area, or any pet friendly establishments. I know Star Vista and Holland Village are both pet friendly areas! I'd love to walk along the Green Coridor or any PCN's. Sometimes there are large areas of land near residencial housing which I also like walking around. Your dog and I can go exploring together.

For home visits, I can stay at your place from 30min - 4 hours; it really just depends on your individual need! Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats. I can be in the same area as them, but I can not touch them or interact with them for long periods of time. Therefore, I only offer services for dogs. If you happen to have a cat at your place as well, no worries! I will just keep my distance.

As mentioned before, I had my own dog whom I took care of for 12 years. My dog easily reacted to rodents and cats when walking, so I learned how to handle a strong dog by keeping him on a short leash and close to my body in such situations. When other dogs who were more aggressive would be in our vacinity, I would anticipate this and either cross over to a different path, or tell my dog to sit while holding him close to me until the dog passed by. I've always been a lover of dogs, and since my friends know this, they've often allowed me to walk/care for their dogs when they are unable to, or need an extra hand. I have gone on many outings with dogs, taking them camping and exploring in the forest (during my time overseas), so I am able to respond to their needs in various situations.

For the safety and well-being of all pets, I will only interact with vaccinated dogs.
