Hello! My name is Audrey, and I am a passionate, home-based dog boarder who believes every dog deserves love, care, and a home-away-from-home experience. As a lifelong dog lover and the proud owner of Soba, a tiny but feisty Pomeranian, I know firsthand the joy that dogs bring—and the responsibility that comes with ensuring their happiness and well-being.

My boarding service is more than just a temporary place for your furry family member; it’s a cozy retreat where they’ll feel loved, safe, and cherished. From the moment your dog steps into my home, they become part of my extended family. Whether they’re here for a short stay or a longer visit, I make it my mission to provide them with all the affection, care, and attention they need.

Our home is filled with love, and we are a family of five—my husband, my 9-year-old daughter, myself, and our wonderful helpers. All of us are dog lovers! While my helpers and I are the primary caregivers, my daughter and husband enjoy playing with the dogs, giving them cuddles, and helping with little tasks like showering them with love and affection. Your pup will never feel lonely here!

We strongly believe that dogs should feel free and comfortable in a home environment, which is why we do not use cages. We find cages to be suffocating for dogs and prefer to let them move around freely in a safe and cozy space. However, if you wish for your dog to be caged, please let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

In addition to being a comfortable and welcoming space, my home is designed to accommodate dogs of all temperaments and personalities. For pups who take a little time to warm up, I offer patience and gentle encouragement. For the high-energy explorers, there’s plenty of playtime and fun activities to keep their tails wagging.

I also understand that every dog is unique, so I tailor my approach to meet their specific needs. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, managing special dietary requirements, or providing a comforting cuddle during quiet moments, I’m here to make sure your pet feels at ease.

As a fellow dog owner with more than 30 years of dog handling experience, I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands. That’s why I treat every dog as if they were my own, offering peace of mind to pet parents while they’re away.

Lastly, for the safety and well-being of all our furry guests, we require that all dogs are fully vaccinated before boarding with Bark and Board Boutique.

We also ask that dogs are on a regular flea and tick prevention program and come in good health (no signs of illness, vomiting, or diarrhea within 24 hours of drop-off).

If your pup has any special needs, behavioral notes, or medications, please let us know ahead of time so we can provide the best care possible. Safety and comfort are our top priorities!
