I’ve always loved dogs and for many years our home was filled with the joy of them. When one of our beloved dogs passed away last year, the house felt emptier than ever. We still have plenty of space and love to give, and I’d like to share that with others by opening my home to board dogs—one at a time. This way, each dog gets my full attention, care, and comfort, without the stress of crowded kennels.

The dogs will be in a landed home, a dedicated room for them to rest and a large space for them to roam freely, and when needed, areas where dogs can be comfortably and safely separated. Area is fenced so dogs can be segregated from my own dog if needed.

For the health and safety of all, I can only accept dogs who are up-to-date with their vaccinations and whose owners can provide proof. Dogs must also be tick-free and currently on tick prevention medication. Boarding with me means your dog will be cared for as family, in a calm and cozy environment.

About your services:

• What is specifically included in the services you offer?

We offer boarding in a landed home. The dogs will be indoors most of the time, and can be segregated from other dogs. There is also an outdoor area for dogs to roam. We do walks twice a day (early morning around 7am and later in the evening around 6pm). These will be around the neighbourhood and a nearby small park. We avoid going places that are not familiar to us as there may be tick issues. Feeding is based on owner's instructions. We do not shower the dogs during the boarding.

• How much time you can spend with pets:

We spend around 30 mins per walk. The dogs will be supervised and will be segregated in a safe space in a dedicated room if we need to leave the house. We are usually not out for more than 1 hr each time.

• How many dogs will you board at the same time?

We are able to only board 1 dog at a time. On an exceptional basis if the owner has other pets, we may consider boarding up to 2 dogs. As we have our own dogs, we are unable to accept cats.

• How long are your dog walks?

Walks are about 30 mins each.

• How many dog walks do you offer per day

We walk the dogs twice a day

• How does pet care fit into your daily or weekly routine?

We work from home so are able to supervise the dogs.

• What is your home like?

I live with my husband who also works from home. Pets sleep in a dedicated room downstairs in the house.
