I have had dogs as pets for over 40 years, and my own children grew up alongside our dogs. They are truly part of my family, and we relocated them to keep them with us during my overseas postings.

Besides my own dogs, I have also spent much time taking care of canine friends at volunteer organizations such as SPCA, Noah's Ark and Animal Lovers League in Singapore, and the Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand. I am an experienced dog handler, having crossed the paths and touched the lives of hundreds of dogs.

We adopted our current dog, Cupcake, a Singapore Special, from the SOSD shelter after our two elderly dogs passed away. My wife and three children are all dog lovers, and together, we provide a fun and loving environment for all canine guests.

I am semi-retired and mainly work from home, a terrace house in a tranquil location not far from Serangoon Gardens. Nearby are several nice parks for the neighbourhood children and dogs to frolic around.

Daycare dogs enjoy 1 - 2 walks per day, while boarders enjoy 2 - 3 walks per day. Regular walks will last 20 - 40 minutes per session. For dogs that require more rigorous exercise, by special request, I can also take them for jogs and longer walks of up to 1 hour.

Pet owners are expected to provide their pets' staple foods and treats, as well as detailed information regarding known allergies and any medicinal instructions to ensure the comfort and safety of their pets. Bedding, blanket, toys and other comfort objects are also welcome to ease the pain of separation anxiety. For longer stays, do include items and accessories for baths and dental hygiene as well.

I have experience with dogs at all stages of life, from puppies of a few months to senior citizens close to the end of their second decade.

If owners are amenable, I can also help with minor behavior corrections and diet improvements as part of my holistic services.
