I have 4 dogs of my own including 2 adopted Singapore Specials. I work as a manager, working hours are flexible, allowing me to spend more time with my dogs. Though having had a dog for 14 years, I have gained the most valuable experience with dogs through volunteering with an animal welfare group for the past 5 years. It's given me the opportunity to work with a wide spectrum of dogs - old dogs, dogs with various types of behavioural problems, dogs with medical needs.
My old dog is now senile and for the past 2 years, I have to carry her and clean up after her at times when she doesn't get to the pee pad in time. One of my adopted dogs has diabetes and requires daily insulin injections, so through that I have learnt to administer jabs on a dog, and at times draw blood for testing. My other adopted dog is quite fearful, and through the training I engaged in for him, I have learnt to manage dogs with issues that stem from fear. I have also fostered many dogs over the last few years, and the dogs are usually skittish/shy ones that I hope my own pack is able to help.
Why I decided to become a pet sitter - to be able to provide a service to dog owners that might be looking for someone with experience in handling dogs that have medical or behavioural needs. When I travel, I used to worry about finding reliable help for my dogs since they have various issues. I've since managed to get a good support network going, and would like to extend my services to other dog owners by becoming a pet sitter who is able to take in dogs with different types of needs.

Lynnette is trustworthy and takes good care of my dog throughout. She was able to administer medicine well and would communicate with me regarding my dog's issues. I feel assured leaving my dog in her care. Thanks!
I have experience in taking care of dogs that have medical needs (injections, subcutaneous fluid administration, oral medications).
