Joan

My name is Joan, Malaysian-born and a Psychology graduate. I am 26 years old and currently in Singapore to look for a job. While doing that, I like to use my free time in a more meaningful manner which inspired me to sign up to be a pet sitter. I love animals and up to a few years ago, I've always had pets in my home. When I moved to another city, I brought my pet hamster with me. But after he passed away, I did not get another pet because I couldn't make that kind of commitment at that time. As such, I've missed the companionship and comfort that pets give. Even now I would love to get a pet hamster but I'll need to settle down before I make that decision.

I have never pet sit before but I've had experiences with animals. I once worked for a while at a petting zoo where I got to learn a lot about the animals there and even overcame my fear of snakes when I was there. As my mum is afraid of everything furry, I could only have small animals as pets such as rabbits, hamsters and tortoises. However, my dad loves dogs and he did have a few as pets which I got to play with whenever I visited him. I was a very responsible pet owner and I will definitely be a very responsible, loving and attentive pet sitter for your pets.
