Lots of space at home to accommodate play companions with my little gal.. Safe and secure inside play area including a large indoor garden and no issue with being present at home 100%.

Common FAQs
- How many pets will there be at any one time?
* This is a home, not a pet shop.
Many of my repeat guests are comfortable with each other come together as a bunch.. however, if your kiddo needs socialisation time, we can arrange in advance. If your dog can pass the Marshmallow test.. they will do fine. But it’s usually one plus my gal.
- Are you flexible on timing?
* This is a home, not a pet shop. So far no one has outstayed their welcome here. Or being asked to get their dogs home quicker..
- Will you accept non neutered dogs or dogs on heat?
* Frankly, this will need to be discussed on case by case. Have had both but as special arrangements will need to be ascertained. Will need to discuss to minimise any issues when here. Non neutered who are well trained and have presented no issues as marking territory, hostility etc have done well here.
- Have there been any unpleasant incidences in your home?
* If they pass the Marshmallow test, ie can get along like most would, they will feel at home here. To date, blessed with just the best of well behaved and natured pawkids and parents (who are really all so awesome - just like their pets.)
- Have you refused any fur kid to host?
* To date, none. The only exceptions are because there is already a couple of guests already under booked care. Only non negotiable if any is, infectious skin or tick infestation conditions, bully aggressive dogs (or parents) to ensure this remains truly a “Puppy and Bone” homestay.

My dog really enjoyed the stay at Cyndii's. Frequent communications set our hearts at ease, knowing he is enjoying himself and being well taken care of. He made new friends, had treats, and even a day out at doggie cafe. What a wonderful staycation!
It was relieving to know that my dog is in good hands while I was away for a trip. This is the first time I’ve engaged with a dog sitter through this app as my dog has become older over the years and needs more maintenance. Initially I wished that Cyndii will send some photos and videos of Milky while I was away but I tried to emphasise with her when she said that she didn’t have enough time to do so during the house visit. I booked her for a total of 20 house visits just in case I have any flight delays or mishaps during the trip. Fortunately, everything was smooth sailing during my trip so she only needed to come for a total of 18 house visits as I will be around on time. My dad who opened the door for Cyndii while I was away also feedback that she was often late from the timings that she promised in our group chat (which varies depending on her availabilities), in which we tried to accommodate as long as Milky still gets fed regularly with his food and medication.
There was one particular incident that happened towards the end of the dog sitting experience that left a very bad taste in my mouth. She told me that the dog dry food is not enough. Because I was still overseas, I told her that I will ask my dad to buy the dog dry food for her. She offered to help me buy a new bag instead, which I thanked her for it and asked if I could pay for the outstanding balance. When I came back from my trip, the new pack of dog food was gone, and she didn’t notify me about it. When I tried to ask her about it, I realised that my number was blocked and she was uncontactable. I tried to reflect on myself and see if I did anything that is worth getting blocked through WhatsApp, honestly I couldn’t think of any.. I merely asked if Milky is doing alright because of the lack of photos/videos or even text updates throughout my trip. I didn’t even ask her everyday, probably just at the beginning of my trip and when Milky had soft stools. We tried to close our eyes about many other things, like leaving Milky’s wet tissue pack opened and it has all dried up, etc. 🥲
I will appreciate if Cyndii could at least let me know that she has taken the dog dry food away, so that I could have asked my dad to buy a new pack before Milky’s food run out. I was upset at the fact that when I came back home from my trip, Milky has no more dry food left and I wasn’t notified that the new dog dry food was taken away just like that.

i wish to offer a repose to Miss Yap for Milky on the requested home visits.
You had booked for a total of 10 days x 2 visits.
On day 1 and day 10, you had self requested to inform you did not need a home visit to be done. There are whatspp messages to validate this. out of goodwill, I helped to purchase a pack of dog food as the current pack was almost ran out, out of goodwill., driving to the pet store as a favor.
Instead of reimbursing the amount with the receipt attached you simply said you would deduct the amount from the 2 home visits. This to me, in principle not right. if you wanted to do that, you should have informed myself and Pawshake upfront and not impose retrospectively. The request to reduce to one visit per day for day 1 and 10, was at your request.
Basically, since you had an issue with this payment, i donated the pack of food away and did inform you you won’t need to pay for it. Hope you understand pet sitters are not your domestic helpers and you should properly inform Pawshake to work out if ypu felt it’s justifiable to not pay the extra 2 home visits should be refunded to you, when you cancel in restrospect.
As for your other complaints, i am sure you would have found it necessary to take it at face value, what was agreed to be done to offer the best care for Milky. There was no feedback on what extras you felt should be done or done better which is one sided. have done any home visits, and hope respect be accorded for any others that you engage in future.
