I'm 1.5 years in as a pet sitter! I have previously cared for my pet maltese shihtzu for 10 years from when she was just born, to her final days with liver failure. I have also volunteered before to foster and administer oral meds to a rescue stray cat.

I love spending time with dogs and cats. I see it as an achievement (hee hee) when strays warm up to me, especially the more feral ones. It is always interesting for me to learn and observe their behaviours so as to approach them respectfully by being mindful of their different tolerances for space and boundaries. 

I am totally open to interact with other types of pets as well :) The animal kingdom and its ingenuity never fail to amaze me. Animals are nature in their purest forms. We have alot to learn from them.

Other info about my service:

- It is essential you share as much as possible about your pet's daily routines, preferences, and hand over as many of its personal items for use (with regards to the service you signed up for). This is so that your pet will feel more at home without you around, and helps your pet to feel at ease faster with added sense of security and familiarity.

- For boarding and daycare, you will need to pick up and drop off your pet as I do not have personal transport. If within Tampines area, I am happy to do the favour of pick up and drop off free of charge.

- Timings of pick up and drop off are flexible. But service hours will adhere to Pawshake's recommendations.

Other info about my home/neighbourhood:

- Your pet will be treated like my own. This means there will be no cages, but there would be an open spaces for owners to decide the location of your pet's den and space, and for toileting. Otherwise toileting could be outdoors during walks as well if preferred. This also means your pet is free to roam all parts of the house. 

- My neighbourhood has nice walking areas where I used to bring Patches, my pet maltese-shihtzu for long walks. The area is surrounded by greenery and human recreational facilities.

- Cleaning of floorings and furniture stained by pets will be done organically with a dilution of white vinegar and water. For more serious odours, mild shampoo will be added to the mixture. No harsh chemicals there.

Doing what I love for a job would be a dream come true. 

Over 1.5 years, I have cared for numerous Singapore Specials, silky terriers, a husky, shihtzu, households with different cat temperaments, elderly dogs and cats who require medications and suppplements, and house-sitting for owners with multiple pet types at their homes.
