Major dog lover!! I believe in allowing them to be comfortable enough to approach me before I approach them with some loving pets ♥️

Not much experience with dog training, but I personally believe in loose leash walks, no shouting (but yes to firm commands), no physical lashings or punishment, and giving apples as an afternoon treat (if allowed!).

Dogs should be allowed to be dogs :) I aim to provide an environment where they can rest comfortably in their beds for their needed 12 hours of sleep without feeling anxious. For walks, allowing them to sniff around and explore.

Some background on my experience:

Lost my family pet in 2022 after more than fifteen wonderful years together, she was truly the goodest pup. She was a timid rescue Jack Russell with lots of love and mischief.

I've been dogsitting my sister's dog off and on when she travels the past seven years or so. He is also a rescue, a Daschsund, and has the silliest quirks. He has skin and heart conditions so medications (oral pills and skin ointments) are a must.
