Background: I'm an animal lover through and through and have stewarded, rehabilitated, and rescued many animals throughout my life - dogs, cats, squirrels, birds, gerbils, rabbits, hamsters, fish, turtles and tortoises, even chickens (my house was pretty much like a farm)! I am an experienced, lifelong animal guardian and in recent years, my overwhelming love for animals and passion for understanding them has eventually brought me down the path of being a full-time animal welfare activist, trainer, and behaviourist.
I was a leader at one of the largest animal shelters in Singapore; I train both dogs and volunteers on how to train dogs, do rescues, am the resident behaviourist, and personal care for many of the furry friends. I am currently a US certified dog trainer and also the co-founder of a local Animal Welfare Group and Volunteer Welfare Organisation.
For doggy pawrents: I can handle dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments with experience from my work with animals, so fret not! From old and/or sick dog care, to large, energetic, and/or aggressive dogs, I have spent a copious amount of time doing medical treatments and applications, rehabilitation, and training them! I offer dog sitting, grooming, walking, training, and bathing! I also work with working dogs, so if you have special needs such as jute tugs, high-frequency recall whistles etc., I am able to accommodate you.
For the kitty guardians: I am able to handle both reactive/aggressive cats as well as shy and timid ones. My approach for handling cats is to adopt a stress-free one while doing any socializing, rehabilitation, and conditioning. I offer cat sitting and grooming. All of my time spent with your cat is promised to be a very positive and fun experience!
I come prepared with all necessary pet accessories that you require/can think of; harness, choker chain, leads, slip leads, headcollars, muzzles, dog/cat shampoo, and even treats on the entire value spectrum, and toys!
During the entire pet care experience, I will send photos and videos regularly to you by phone too. If you're looking for the most meticulous, utmost best care for your pet, look no further! This might possibly be the last profile you would ever need to visit. I take animal work very seriously; I have a team of handlers, accounts with the best veterinary clinics in Singapore, contacts for pet transporters, and all the pet supplies you could ever need, so whether it is an emergency or an outing, I will be able to make any and all the best arrangements for you. Let me know what you need during my visit, talk to me about your pets and let's work something out!
For a more comprehensive list of my specific skills, please see below under the "skills" section. If you require behaviour modification, training, or behaviour reinforcement/refreshers, please do let me know too. I do programs one-to-one or in group settings for communities, during which I will teach and employ methods rooted in animal psychology and science.
Mark is professional in his approach and manner. Fantastic with the dogs and picks up their behavior with ease.
All 3 of our Golden Retrievers took to him immediately.
Our house was left respectfully clean.
