I'm 26, a writer and student, and love spending time with dogs! Currently in uni whilst trying to found a tech startup. I've spent the past three years (2017-2020) living, working and hiking with dogs over five continents, from Latin America to East Asia. I speak English, some Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese. A family member of mine is (quite lamentably) allergic to animal fur/hair, and so we are unable to accommodate one at home long-term.
I've been with dogs of all ages, sizes and energy levels, mostly having done day to day sitting and walking. Also open to taking your furries on runs or hikes if they need the exercise and are good sports! I know several hidden gems on this island for that.
Minimally 30-40 minutes. You're welcome to leave a tip if you'd like walks longer than an hour. Am open to walking your doggo outside of Woodlands for an additional fee.
1.5 hours (per visit) is my standard, but I'm very open to negotiate. I'll take care of meals, medication if any, walks and playtime. Would require you to pay for transport for anywhere outside Woodlands.
Office hours during the week (refer to calendar), flexible over the weekend. Will include at least two walks (30mins ea). Prefer quiet, potty-trained mutts 🐾
Max length of stay is a week (refer to above-mentioned allergies). Similar to daycare, with the exception of a few hours on some days of the week when I'll be in uni. On those occasions your pup will be in good hands at home with my family, all of whom also adore doggos. He/she will sleep with me (refer to images of my bedroom) and is welcome on my bed unless they prefer the rug or their personal bedding brought. Prefer quiet, potty-trained mutts 🐾
I live in a an apartment ~1,200sqft in the north with my family. Everyone loves dogs and would love to have them around but are constrained by allergies. We thought an ideal situation would be to open up our home for dog boarding to owners in need of a haven for their furries while they're away for a week or two on vacay. I have a student's schedule right now, so for about four hours three days of the week I'll be in uni.
We also keep hamsters - they're housed in my sister's bedroom. You're welcome to come up anytime for a little chat!
There's a huge mangrove park and another seafront park near where I live that your fur baby would definitely love. There are also multiple smaller parks scattered throughout the vicinity where I cycle to very often. What might be of particular interest is this massive green open space hidden atop a hill within the mangrove park that your doggo will go abs bonkers over.
Looking forward to meeting all of you! 🐾
Chester is a very proactive pet sitter. Before the day of booking, he alwaysreplies promptly. During pet sitting, there are no problems with communicating our pets' needs with him and he even comes to our house beforehand to understand the location of things needed. We appreciate his help. You can feel at ease to leave your pet in his care. Thank you Chester!
Chester looked after our pups like they were his own. They were well fed, cared for and loved! They both adored him and still wait for him at the door. Chester was also great at managing and responding to their special diet and needs. He even made extra effort to come early in the morning to walk our dogs so as to avoid the heat even though he lived quite a distance away. We just relocated from a colder climate and were extremely worried about the dogs adapting to the heat so we were extremely grateful and we cannot thank him enough! Highly recommended!:)
