About David
I am British and moved to Singapore in 2006. My wife is from Thailand and moved here in 2009.
We are both massive animal lovers and we have recently moved to a lovely landed property in Yio Chu Kang. We have 2 secure gardens (front and back) so there is always plenty of shade and space. Our friends call us the "dog whisperers" as we seem to have a natural talent in building relationships and trust with most dogs.
The dogs will have the run of the house. We also have a large park at the end of the road so walks in the morning and evening are a guarantee.
I work full time on LTA projects but my wife is at home so the dogs will never be left alone. In the evenings and at weekends we will also take them for fun walks at parks further away. In the UK I grew up in the New Forest and I was registered as a foster guardian for resuced dogs (for the RSPCA and a labrador charity) so have a natural affection to handling dogs and love going for long walks (when it is not too hot!)
I have grown up with spaniels and labradors in the UK whilst my wife has mostly grown up with Thai specials ;) We had a Juck Russell which we got here in Singapore but sadly he passed a few years ago after we had relocated and moved to Thailand. Because my work is project based we are not looking to own a dog but really wish to share our home and our love for dogs, hence we have joined this site.
We have the huge benefit in that we can collect and return your pets (I have a large car). We can tailor our boarding to suit your needs. If you want us to provide food - we can. If you want us to provide transport - we can. If you want us to shampoo and groom your dog - we can. If you want an overnight stay or a 2 week boarding to cover you whilst on holiday we can accomodate.
We are not doing this to make any income. It is more a way of life and we miss having a dog. As such we will discuss and negotiate a package and a solution that works for you.
We will be selective about which dogs we accept. Whilst there are no breeds that we will refuse we will not allow more than 2 or 3 dogs at any one time (unless they are from the same owner and are used to each other). Our house is 4 bedrooms and very spacious so size of dog is not of a concern.
