Hey there, my name is Sarah and I'm 37 years old -- of which, I've spent 17 years caring for cats of all ages.

My journey with cats started with a kitten that was left inside a box outside my family home. Over the years, I have been a Mom to 15 cats. I presently live in the East with our 5 lovely feline kids, aged 1 - 17 years old. I will be able to provide cat-sitting/dog walking services for households in these areas: Tampines / Loyang / Simei / Pasir Ris / Changi / Bedok. From the very start, one of my biggest anxieties as a cat Mom has been being away from home for extended periods -- which means vacations (even staycations) have been extremely hard for me to navigate. I empathise deeply with pet owners seeking someone they trust to care for their cat(s) during their time away from home, prompting this decision to offer cat-sitting services for cat parents. I also understand that some cat parents end up spending most of their days working away from home and have some level of mom/dad-guilt -- I know this desire of keeping your cat(s) engaged and happy while you're making your career aspirations a reality very well.

On top of having my own pet cats, I am also a regular volunteer with an animal shelter that cares for rescued cats and dogs. I have been doing so for the past 10 years and this extended period has given me a wealth of experience with understanding various types of cat behaviour, safety, health and hygiene.  

[Meet & Greet]

Always a good idea for your cat(s) to meet the person whom may regularly enter their space beforehand. This also allows you to meet me in-person so you can share your pets' routine and behaviour. 

[30-45 minute cat house visits]

For each 30-minute visit, I will be able to wash and refill food & water bowls, empty litter trays, ensure your cat-safe features remain intact, interact with your cat(s) as they wish (e.g. grooming/playtime) and take out the trash. I am also keenly attuned to how cat(s) feel and can sense subtle signs they show when they start to feel unwell. I can also administer daily oral medication for your cat(s), if needed. I will also gladly share pictures/videos updating you on your pet.

[Dog walking]

I have experience interacting with and walking dogs from my time volunteering at an animal shelter. Each walk will last 30 mins - 1 hour, depending on the energy level of your dog. 

As for any pet, it's always a good idea for your dog(s) to meet the person whom may regularly enter their space beforehand to check for compatibility and build familiarity. If you have more than 1 dog, my preference is to walk 1 dog at a time to ensure they each get their own attention, space and exercise. I will also gladly share pictures/videos updating you on your pet. 

[Companion for vet visits]

Another stressful time for pet parents is when their pets fall sick out of the blue. It can be difficult to get time-off from work, especially at the last minute if/when your cat suddenly falls sick. I will be available to pick up (I do not drive but there are transport options we can explore), send your pet to the vet, stay with your pet throughout the visit and drop them at home after the visit.
