I’ll be home most of the time but your fur baby may be alone at home with my dog and/ or 2 other pets (but kept separated from when not supervised) for <3hours/day when I have to run errands/ attend meals/attend a dog training class outside. If you're sending your dog in for daycare, your pet will not be left alone at home for more than 45 minutes (I may need to pop down to grab my mail, or next door to get food).

Much of my day is catered to my dog, so adding your furbaby into our day is not much of a change in routine for us. I previously worked at a dog school for a ~3.5 years as a dog teaching assistant, and I am now onto the next phase of my dog training career: completing a Certification in Applied Canine Ethology from the Ethology Institute.

Note: Please provide a set of care instructions (and any other relevant/ helpful information) before/ at the beginning of your pets stay to ensure a smooth transition from your home to mine! Please also ensure your pet is up to date with his/ her vaccines (titer tests also accepted), and free of any ticks/ fleas before boarding! 

Aside from feeding, daily walks, playing (if pet is willing), and basic grooming (if pet permits) - if you have any other special care requests/ requirements, feel free to drop me a message first (ahead of booking; additional charges MAY be incurred) and I will let you know if it is within my capability to follow through :)

Will you get regular updates on your furchild(s)? Absolutely! 

Additional Information:

About my dog: My dog is well-socialized and accepting of all pets - we have had many pets come through our home, and with appropriate introductions, my dog usually leaves cats alone and interacts with the dogs only if they wish.  

Medical needs: I can administer pills and liquid-fed medication; I am a Certified Canine First Responder (Valid from 26 June 2023). 

How many pets will be boarded at the same time: Maximum 2 large dogs OR 3 small-medium dogs.

Where pets will sleep: If able to roam safely without constant supervision (not possible during sleeping hours), pets can sleep wherever they wish. If unable to roam safely without constant supervision, pups will sleep with me and my dog in my room, or in the dog room.

Walk duration: *Applicable to boarding dogs only* Minimum 1 long walk a day (weather permitting) - at least 45 minutes. With a shorter supplementary walk of about 15-20 minutes for pups that only potty outdoors.

Training: Maintaining/ reinforcing their existing training during boarding can be an add-on service. Please discuss with me PRIOR TO confirming your booking if you'd like this :)

Please note, as I am not a qualified animal behaviorist, if you are looking for assistance in your dog's training journey, I CANNOT take on cases concerning behavioural aggression (i.e., dog has a history of biting others). In such cases, I’d strongly advise you to seek out a qualified animal behaviorist or a dog trainer specialized in dog aggression for help. 

I understand the anxiety of a furparent wanting to travel but worrying about the welfare of their furbaby. I’m happy to offer your fur child a safe space, where they will be cared for with as much care and attention as I’d bestow upon my own, so that you can have the peace of mind while you travel or work :)
