Hi there!

My name is Rachel, and as you can see from my photos I am a lover of all animals great and small!

I am a very experienced petminder, being a pet mommy to at least one little creature at all points in my life, from doggies to cats, to gerbils and rabbits, fish, axolotls, the list goes on. I have recently moved to Singapore with my longterm partner, and with our current situation, we are not in a position to have a pet of our own, even though our place is missing the homey touch of having an animal pottering around.

Hence, I have turned to petsitting!

As I said, I have experience caring for a wide range of animals. I am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and personalities, I have personally owned a number

of dogs through the years varying from a tiny cocker spaniel to a large boisterous golden retriever. I also have experience with rescue dogs and the different challenges that come with these (Separation anxiety and PTSD in particular). I have done some basic doggy skills training with our little furbabies through the years, so if you need any help with that I'll do my best to help.

I also have experience caring for cats and small furries. I personally kept 2 bunnies and a gerbil for a number of years, I have experience in handling these comfortably and also doing what I can to provide maximum enrichment. My sister also kept guinea pigs when we were younger, so I have some experience with these too.

I am home a lot of the time at the moment, so would be at your pups beck and call. There are a number of walking routes of different lengths around my place so I can accommodate walks of from 5 minutes to 60 minutes. There is even an empty field area beside my place that tends to be nice and quiet where I can take less socially comfortable dogs, or dogs that like to chase a ball. I am flexible so we can discuss your dogs walking needs and put together a schedule to suit.

I live with my partner, who is a fellow dog lover, so there will be ample supply of attention for your pet while they stay with us. We are open to whatever sleeping arrangements your pet is most comfortable with, and will try our best to maintain their usual feeding/walking schedule to minimise any stress. We have a mid-sized balcony which some pets love or some pets hate, but we can easily just keep it closed if it's not suitable for them to be out there. We have a 2 bedroom apartment, and the pet can have the run of it apart from the spare room (which is where we hide anything not pet-friendly, rugs, spare shoes, etc.).

I'm also available for occasional dog walking if you need help with that. I can come to shadow you on a walk and then we can discuss what you would need for your dog. Also, if you are away and just need someone to stick their head in and make sure your pet is ok, I'm happy to help with that too.
