BACKGROUND
We are three dog lovers and dog carers: me, my husband and our helper. Anyone of us alone can care for your dog with love. Your dog will always be happy to be near us!
We've owned dogs since 2000. Our children grew up with our dogs. All our dogs lived long and happy lives filled with love, play and exercise.
Before we accept any booking, we do a pre-boarding assessment, just like a vet or pet hospital would do. We take our responsibility seriously! Requests for exclusive boarding, i.e. no other dogs, can be approved with a 50% premium.
Meet and greets are fine. We do ours over a cup of tea!
For the busy dog owner, video calls and videos are used, too.
Our home has 1) 120 sq meters, 2) a cul d'sac and a large backyard and pool area. Nearby, we have several areas of several hectares of greens, "parks," where all the neighborhood dogs go and play.
GUIDELINES
It takes 3 days for a dog to become accustomed to a new environment, so a 7 day minimum booking for boarding is the best for your dog. Exceptions of less than 7 days can be considered on a case-by-case basis. We bathe your dog free of charge when boarding is 7 nights.
To keep things as normal as possible, bring your dog's leash, harness, favorite dry food/treats, bed, pee pads, toiletries (shampoo and brush), toys and meds. We recommend grooming and nails before drop off to help cope with the Singapore heat!
Dogs trained for grass are ideal, but pee tray for the younger ones is ok. This shows that owners have invested personal time in training.
Per our Pawshake preferences, we prefer small dogs 6kg or under and ones who eat standard dry or canned foods. Occasional exceptions can be considered based on behavior.
Our house rules and basic politeness take precedent.
Don't settle for the fastest reply. We can reply and accept within 24 hours once both sides understand your dog, so patience pays off!

We recently went on vacation and entrusted our 8 month old Maltipoo baby girl - Luckie, with Kim, Landy and their helper. They showed a deep knowledge and affection of dogs, which immediately put us at ease. Luckie not only learned the international “sit” hand signal, but we also picked up some training tips ourselves.
Landy was very detailed with asking us questions about Luckie’s routines and behaviours. They went above and beyond to help us grass train Luckie, something we’ve been struggle with. The regular updates provided during her stay gave us peace of mind, knowing that Luckie was in great hands.
We were particularly pleased to learn that they don't take in many dogs at once. This meant Luckie received 5-star attention, which was evident in how happy and well-cared for she was when we picked her up. We highly recommend Kim & team to anyone looking for a personal and attentive experience for their furry friend!
We left our dog for 10 days with Kim and he was so well taken care of. We were initially worried because he’s an older dog with quirks but Kim and team really listened to our concerns and our dog’s needs, and kept reassuring us while we’re away. I’ll definitely be engaging Kim’s services again in the future!
