My passion for dogs is deeply rooted in both my experience and innate connection with these remarkable creatures. My journey with dogs started during my time in NS where I had the privilege of training and working alongside them. The bond forged with my dogs transcend words, the silent understanding speaks volume.

Being able to pet sit for my relatives was a huge joy for me as they would leave their pets in my care to dog sit while they run their errands or are away on an overseas trip. It brings great satisfaction to be able to bond with the pets. My passion for dogs extends beyond a hobby; it's a calling to advocate for their well-being and contribute to their happiness. I'm sure your pet will have a pawsitive experience in my care

I have learnt the appropriate dog handling skills with small to larger dogs as my unit has a range of dogs (e.g. German shepherds, Labrador retrievers and cocker spaniels). I am also aware of canine behavior to read their body languages and signals to interpret their needs and emotions accurately. I am trained to practice safety precautions to identify possible hazards to prevent any mishaps/injuries, as well as the necessary emergency responses in times of need. I am also capable of administering medications prescribed by the veterinarian and monitor for any side effects, if the dogs are required to take their medications.

These have been taught to us dog handlers as each dogs may have different conditions. We would have to watch their sensitivities to food as well as medication that would help them in their everyday lives. I can also provide simple brush grooming services for the dog during their stay in my home. At any point of time, I would be able to board two dogs. I will also take the dogs out for dog walks for 30 minutes and up to an hour. With my experience with dogs, I also do understand that some dogs naturally loves to be in the outdoors and would bring the dogs under my care for up to 2 dog walks in the day. My house is located around PCNs and 5 minutes away from the nearby park which includes a dog park! My experience as a dog handler has let me manage and judge if dogs are able to socialize with each other, so you can be rest assured that your dog will be safe and in any form of danger during dog socializing. (take note: I will only bring the dog into the dog park only at your discretion and approval, I understand some pet owners do not feel comfortable with it.)

My mother is a housewife and I do have certain days that I am able to work from home. Rest assured that your dogs will be under great care and there will always be someone at my home who's able to watch on their condition. My mother also has many experiences caring for dogs as she usually pet sits for my relatives as well.

For home visits, I am usually available in the evening in the weekdays. I would also be available for the entire day in the weekends as I dont have any weekly commitments for now, unless there are scheduled appointments. Depending on availability, I would be able to do home visits from morning till the evening as well. Do contact me and we could see if we are able to align my availability to your needs. I would also be able to help out with some menial tasks and housekeeping while you are away. Similarly, I would also provide dog walk services from 30 mins up to an hour and will take note of feasible places for dog walks prior to the home visit. During my visit, I will also make sure that the home is well taken care of and there will not be any intruders and prevent any security breaches from happening.
