Hello! I'm Eunice. I grew up interacting with the various pets that my uncle kept, which nurtured my love for our furry companions. I do wish I could have a pet of my own at home, but I cannot for various reasons. Instead, I volunteered at a dog shelter regularly and pet-sit both cats and dogs for 3+ years, though I have not in the past few years due to full-time work commitments. I'm excited to get back into caring for your lovely pets! ❤️
Meet and greet
I'll set up a first meeting with you a few days before you need me to pet-sit, preferably at your place. This first meeting is free and is necessary for me to understand your pet's details and needs. Some examples of details I require include amount and type of food, timing of feeding, address of your go-to vet, medicine/supplements that needs to be administered etc. This meeting also serves as a chance for your pet(s) to decide if they're comfortable with me as the pet-sitter, as well as a way for me to receive a copy of your house key/ entry method.
House visits
$30 per visit, +$10 for each additional cat/dog, +$5 for each additional small pet (e.g. rabbit/hamster). I usually stay for about 1 hour to 1.5 hours per pet-sitting visit, and longer if you have more pets, your pet needs a walk, or if your pet still has lots of energy to spare.
The above fees are for the North-East area. For locations that are further from me, I charge an additional $5 for each visit. I greatly appreciate your understanding regarding the compensation required for my travel time and fees. 🙏🏼
During house visits, I can:
I'll update you when I arrive and when I leave. During the visit, I'll send you pictures and/or videos regularly.
Walks
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Very good communication and good care !
Excellent communication, took great care of our cat over the weekend
I have been volunteering regularly at a dog shelter for two years, and I grew up caring for my uncle's dog, thus I have more experience with dogs than with cats. I have also helped to take care of my uncle's rabbit and my friend's hamster on several occasions, so please have faith in me!
As I share the feeling of nervousness of having someone new care for your loved one, details and updates are very important to me. I would appreciate it very much if details of your furkid's special requirements, medicines, allergies, dietary preferences, bathing preferences, and habits could be advised. Additionally, I reward treats for good behaviour - please tell me if you are uncomfortable with treat-giving, the brand, or the type of treats. As for updates, they can be in the form of pictures or videos sent through whatsapp, according to your preference.
While I am not a professional, I will definitely treat your furkid like one of my own!
