Hello fellow animal lovers! My name is Anthony 😊

I have to preface to I have never personally officially owned pets (other than a hamster), BUT I absolutely adore animals and I do have many experiences with them elsewhere.

My love for animals goes back to when I was little kid, I used to follow the neighbourhood "cat auntie" in the evening around 7pm as she went around feeding cats.

Because I do not own pets, from time to time I yearn that interaction and play with animals. Recently though, I came back from a half a year cycling journey around Central Asia and Georgia and a got big dose of it ❤️

- I have had 2 occasions where a dog have followed me on the road (effectively becoming my pet) for 5-7 days each. First one was in Tajikistan, second one in Georgia. I didn't think much of dogs until my encounter with these two amazing creatures and had a visceral experience of the "men's best friend" adage.

- I also had a month long workaway stint of taking care of 2 lovely cats in a hostel in Kutaisi, Georgia while the owners were away during the off-season. Took one of the cats to the vet once. At my next workaway place that was on a farmstay, I would voluntarily take one of the dogs that was chained on the property for a walk in the woods from time to time.

- Countless little moments on the road and in hostels of therapeutic interactions with other cats and dogs
