Background and motivation: I am a huge animal lover and have been surrounded by dogs and other pets growing up in the countryside in the US. I've had dogs since I was a child but no longer have any because my brother and I are older and busier. I feel a true connection with dogs and although I don't have a dog myself right now, I dogsit for my relatives and friends all the time, ranging from beagles to golden retrievers. They trust me with all the responsibilities of their dogs, from walking to feeding to cleaning them. I'm used to taking care of them and adapting easily from one dog to another. I don't see dogs as entertainment, but as friends and companions. I want to dogsit because I miss the presence of these lovely angels in my life and want to feel fulfilled in that manner again. I think dog sitting is a practical way for me to have dogs in my life again without having to compromise on my work routine. After a hectic week, I want to be able to immerse myself with my experiences with my paw pals on the weekends. I would love to help other families out with taking care of their precious family member when they're not available.
Dogs I take care of: I prefer medium-sized to large dogs, as I have most experience with them. But I get alone with all breeds and dog sizes! I can take care of 1 dog at a time in my house.
Dog walks: I offer 2-3 dog walks per day. My dog walks are 30 minutes to 1.5h, depending on what suits the dog the best. I would love to spend as much time with the dogs as possible.
My house: I live in a 4 bedroom flat with a very spacious balcony too. My living room area is big for the dog to play around in and most of the dogs I have taken care of also really enjoyed playing in the balcony. The dog will be able to run freely and sleep in 3 out of 4 of the rooms I have. My family consists of 4 people, my brother, my parents and I. My condominium is filled with nature, with plenty of paths for dog walks and for the dog to play around in. There are many dogs that live in this condo as well. The guest pets will be allowed to sleep in the living room, my room, or the extra room that we have.
My area: I live 5 minutes walk away from the beach. My weekly routine includes walking to the beach and walking/jogging there for 1-1.5hours. The area I live in also has very safe urban pathways to follow. The beach also has a dog park where I have been several times. I like to take the dogs that I'm taking care of there, for them to play around unleashed.
Availability: On the days that I have marked as available, I can spend 24/7 with the dogs. The dog will never be left at home alone - I will always be in the house to take care of it, and everyone in my family has experience with dog caretaking as we used to have dogs of our own. I'm a college student, so on the days that I am available, I should be at home throughout the day. I will not be leaving the house. I will schedule my day around my dog caretaking responsibilities and try my best to make the day as exciting and fun for the dog.
Services: My services include dog walks, supervision, cleaning, feeding etc (all the basic dog care responsibilities). I can also administer oral medicines for the dogs as I have done it many times before. I live very close to the beach and if applicable, I will take the dogs for a long walk at the beach or even the dog park!

Aarushi and her family did a really fantastic job in taking good care of our 9 year old Labrador. He had lots of walks and runs, and was so happy in the photos that Aarushi frequently updated us with.
She made the effort to have a meet and greet prior to our booking, so that we could be assured that we were comfortable with each other. We had a carefree holiday knowing that our dog would be well taken care of.

Had left my 6yr old Lab for 5 nights with Aarushi and her family and had complete peace of mind. He was looked after very well and we were updated regularly with photos and updates. There was always someone at home as promised. When our dog experienced tummy issues Aarushi increased the number of walks and was flexible to accomadate this issue. Definitely recommend her services

I have dogsat for almost 15 dogs in the past. I have experience with small dogs, like Pomeranians, and even big dogs, like German shepherds. I used to have a golden retriever, a pug and a Labrador myself. I have experience with walking, cleaning, feeding and doing all the daily tasks to take care of any dog. In my time working at the animal shelter at OSCAS animal shelter, I took care of rescue dogs that had physical disabilities as well as those that were traumatised and wounded.
