I have always loved animals since I was a child and my parents have given me ample opportunities to interact with animals since young. I used to have terrapins and budgies at home when I was younger, and now I have my own dog, Oscar at home. My relatives are also huge animal lovers. One of my cousins has 2 big dogs and two of my other cousins each have 5 cats of their own. I spend a lot of time with my cousins' pets as well.
In terms of experience wise, I have helped my cousins take care of their cats on multiple occasions when they are overseas. I have a cousin who has 5 cats in her house. When she went overseas, I would stay over at her place to take care of her cats for her. Responsibilities include cooking and feeding the cats two/three times a day, brushing their fur, cleaning the litterbox, and playing with them.
Every Sunday, my cousin would drive us (usually my sister and I and our dog) to the beach together with her 2 dogs. I would help my cousin walk one of her dogs, while my sister walks Oscar. Hence, I do have the experience of walking bigger dogs.
My motivation to become a pet sitter is to be able to earn money on the side whilst still doing something I enjoy. Currently, I am a university student and I do not wish to rely on my parents for pocket money.

My puppy Maya took an instant liking to Wan Ting and her presence for the hours when we were away, was very calming and reassuring for Maya. Wan Ting was super responsible and ensured that Maya was cared for and engaged when awake. She even shared frequent updates and pics and I was comforted knowing that my puppy was doing well. I would definitely continue to engage Wan Ting for my future sitting requirements.
