Hello! I'm Wendy and i'm introduced by my daughter to pet-sit with pawshake~

《 About me 》
I love cats and recently started on pawshake (reviews should start coming in soon if it's not already there). I have experience tagging along with my daughter when she made house visits in the past too.

We stopped petsitting since COVID hit and my daughter's account is inactive so i'm opening an account on my own now that the situation is better and travel restrictions have eased. I'm excited to pet-sit, play with your pets, give them some love while letting you travel/work in peace.

《 Flexible with time and dates 》
Weekend and weekdays all both ok as I'm taking a break from my full time job. You can let me know if you have a preference for a certain time of the day.

Feel free to reach out to chat and you can brief me about what you need (e.g. watering plants, collecting mail, bringing in your shopee parcels left at the door etc). 

《 For dogwalking 》
It'll be great to walk with you during the meet-and-greet before you leave so I'll be familiar with what your dog needs, let your dog feel comfy with me & learn the route that your pup is most comfortable with.

《 For house visits 》
We'll do a meet and greet for introductions before you fly so that you can introduce me to your pets and let me know about their needs. I'll always send photos and videos when I make visit so you'll be updated and feel at ease.

《 For first-time pawshakers interested in house visits》
I know how it feels like to travel and worry about your pets/house. Regardless of whether or not you decide to engage me, here are some tips:

• (1) Secure anything that you dont want your pet to mess with (e.g. cats and toilet rolls!!!) as they can get bored and start playing with things that they dont normally touch
  
• (2) For automatic feeders and electronics/wires, try to organise them so they wont get unplugged by your pets by accident
• (3) Some cats may refuse to poop or decide to do their business outside the litterbox if their litterbox is dirty. Depending on how many cats you have, you might want to either have a bigger litter box, or request for a visit a day if you dont have automatic litter-cleaner
• (4) If you have vacumn robots, you can set them to run automatically if your cats are not afraid of it BUT know that there is potential for your cats to spit out a furball and your robot will spread the spit all around the house. (It has happened to us haha)
• (5) Keep your valuables locked up in your room(s) so you'll feel safer and at ease; I will respect your privacy and wont be touching your things.
• (6) There are pet owners who use automatic locks so they wont have to pass me their keys (in case of concerns of people making a copy of your keys); some of these locks uses a card scanner (like hotels) or could be remotely unlocked by you each time through an app. Otherwise, traditional keys work for me too.
• (7) Recommend transacting over the app for the safety of you, your pets (and me too). The app provides insurance for your pet in case of any veterinary needs.

《 Other Info 》
Able to speak english and mandarin fluently; preference for areas near bedok reservoir/jalan tenaga/eunos/ubi.

I'm okay with other small animals too, I have pet fishes now, lots of plants and used to have two terrapins that lived till a ripe old age.
