About Emlyn
Boarding check-in is after 3 pm, and check-out is before 12 noon. Daycare services, available from 7 am to 7 pm, offer a playful day for your pets.
A dedicated family of two adults and two children is ready to provide exceptional pet-sitting services, including cuddling, petting, outdoor walks, and a shower every 7th day of your pet's stay. With a shared passion for animals and a loving home environment, we are committed to caring for your furry companions as if they were our own, while also ensuring their hygiene and exercise needs are met with diligence.
Our home is often kept clean and tidy at all times, providing a safe and comfortable environment for your pets to thrive. We believe in a cage-free environment, which means there are no restrictions on where pets can go or sleep. Your pets will have the freedom to explore and find their favorite spot to relax, just as they would in their own home.
Our windows are meshed with magnetic mesh, and are not opened widely at all times. To further ensure the safety and well-being of all, we have a policy of only allowing vaccinated pets to stay with us.
As experienced pet owners, we understand the unique needs and nuances of caring for animals. Our journey as pet owners has instilled in us a deep sense of responsibility, empathy, and an acute understanding of the well-being of pets. We know the importance of routine, proper nutrition, and healthcare, ensuring that your pets will receive the best possible care and attention.
Adding to our expertise is my husband's background as an ex-K9 handler. His extensive experience in training and working with highly skilled canine companions has provided us with invaluable insights into dog behavior, training techniques, and handling. His presence ensures that dogs in our care will benefit from a level of understanding and expertise that is truly exceptional.
Moreover, our family's commitment to animal welfare extends beyond pet ownership. We have a history of volunteering with SOSD, an organization dedicated to the rescue and care of stray and abandoned animals. Through our volunteer experience with SOSD, we've gained valuable skills in animal welfare advocacy, empathy, and understanding of animals' needs.
With two children in the family, your pets will also enjoy an extra dose of warmth and companionship. The kids are well-educated in pet etiquette and know how to create a fun and engaging environment for animals.
We value open communication and will maintain contact with you throughout your pet's stay, providing updates, and photos, and addressing any special requests or concerns you may have. Your pets will enjoy a home away from home, complete with a secure and nurturing environment, playtime, and lots of love.

To ensure the safety and well-being of your pet during their stay, we kindly request that you provide us with the following information prior to boarding:
1. **Contact Information:** Please share your contact details, including phone numbers and an emergency contact, so we can reach you in case of any questions or emergencies.
2. **Medication and Special Instructions:** If your pet requires any medication, please provide clear instructions on dosage, timing, and administration. Additionally, inform us of any special dietary needs or allergies.
3. **Behavior and Socialization:** Share insights into your pet's behavior, including any anxieties, fears, or aggression tendencies. This helps us tailor our care to their individual needs and ensures a comfortable stay.
4. **Feeding Schedule:** Detail your pet's regular feeding schedule, portion sizes, and dietary preferences. We aim to maintain continuity in their diet to prevent any digestive issues. All provisions are to be provided by the owners.
5. **Emergency Care Authorization:** Provide written consent for emergency veterinary care in case of unexpected health issues. Include your preferred veterinary clinic's contact information if applicable.
6. **Comfort Items:** Feel free to bring along your pet's familiar items such as bedding, toys, or blankets to help them feel more at ease during their stay.
7. **Hygiene:** Inform us of any specific hygiene routines your pet follows. This ensures they receive the appropriate care and attention.
8. **Exercise and Activity Preferences:** Share your pet's exercise routine and any favorite activities. We want to make their stay as enjoyable as possible.
