Hi! I am a 19-year old student who has too much free time ever since her holidays started. I have a burning passion for pets especially cats! (I own three myself) I have been a caretaker for cats since 5-years old and find them full with personality and character. Ever since I was young, my mother emphasised on the fact that animals only deserve to be treated with kindness and both of us have always been keen animals' health. I am very enthusiastic on treating these furry creatures with care and precaution ever since Singapore has had a growing number of pets getting injured due to the lack of safety. (such as jumping off window or lack of supervision) Therefore, I am motivated to become a pet-sitter and ensure that I am liable for these innocent creatures. I firmly believe that they deserve nothing less and should be under the care of someone who truly is passionate about them, instead of some people who heartlessly hurt them and couldn't care less about their well-being. :( I have had previous experience of taking care of my neighbour's and friend's cats as well as my sister's cats. My routine to taking care of them is to give them food first, then play with them as cats are social creatures to an extent. I will make sure to at least spend 15-20 minutes playing with them to ensure that they feel accompanied and recognised. Afterwards, clean their litter! I will go out of the way to ensure that their surroundings are clean as they deserve a clean space. Can you imagine doing your business in some place dirty? yucks! As for taking pets into my house, I would mostly accept vaccinated ones.
