About Carissa
I am 19 years old and have just graduated from high school. I will be staying in Singapore for a gap year, and I love animals, so I thought this job would be perfect for me. I have had hands on experience with cats, dogs, guinea pigs, bunnies, birds, and fish. I love all animals, and there are plenty that I haven't owned that I would love to spend more time with. I plan on going into animal rehabilitation because of the love I have for animal's truthful, genuine, and kind nature. Therefor, I would love to help out with your pets in any way you need me to. I am located in Sembawang and would prefer to pet sit at your house because I have 2 dogs and a cat who are not the most inviting to new animals. Being on a gap year I am widely available for the whole of this next year, and I am happy to do overnights, or something shorter if that is what I am needed for. I am comfortable with all animals, and I have plenty of experience with my own pets that I would happily carry over into caring for yours. Some specific examples of my capabilities include grooming, such as brushing fur and teeth, and giving pets oral medications.

Carissa was extremely capable taking care of my poodle’s dietary needs for the 11 days we were away, including feeding daily supplements and prepping her schedule of canned food and toppers. Doggy took to her right away! You can tell she loves animals and is authentic and affectionate with them. She always arrived punctually for the meet and greet and the actual sitting period, and took very good care of my place while we were away. She was also great keeping us updated and sent us photos. A joy to chat with, hope to book her again soon!
