Hello, I am Ry-Ann. I enjoy helping my friends with their dogs and currently have some spare time on my hands.
I am an experienced dog-sitter (I have cared for a puppy labrador, Shiba Inu, and a Singapore special). I had 2 dogs of my own (until I moved overseas). I currently foster a stray cat who is suffering from anxiety with my housemates.
I work as a political risks analyst (I am able to identify potential hazards and keep pets safe!) who is meticulous in her tasks and will care for your furkids and am conscientious about the well-being of animals.
What you can expect from me:
House visits: I usually spend at least an hour or two on home visit. I feed and play with the pets under my care. You can expect a clean litter box/ pens. I like to keep pet owners informed with regular photo updates, particularly if a dog's behaviour or toileting seems irregular.
Dog walking: I can collect and return your furkids. I prefer to walk routes that your pets are comfortable with. However, I am happy to explore new paths with your furkids - the beach, nature parks etc.
As I currently foster a cat with anxiety, I am unable to bring your pet to my house. I am willing to commute to your home.
House sitting: I am able to stay at the pet owner’s house. I am willing to provide pet care services and perform small household chores. I am easygoing.

- Currently living with a pet with special needs so I understand what it means to care for a pet and the skills needed.
- Attention to detail: I have attended to animals with specific instructions for giving food or medicine (I also live with a pet under medication). I am careful to follow instructions and diligently monitor pets. I can recognise abnormal behaviour for mitigating risks.
- Organisation: I am capable of remaining on task and caring for a more than one animal at a time. For example, execute activities such as walking and essential steps like feeding, bathing or administering medication. I will seek clarification and note down timing, contact details or instructions.
- Problem-solving: I have delt with unexpected occurrences such as a pet having abnormal behaviours. In one instance I had a pet with abnormal behaviour and sought professional advice from a vet and reported everything to the pet-owner. I helped determine the best course of action and all possible ways to resolve it with the owner.
- Cleanliness: Goes without saying, it's essential that you come home to a clean home. You can expect simple practical cleaning and a high standard of maintaining a clean environment.
- Situational awareness: I may identify potential hazards and keep pets safe.
