Hi there, I'm Alison! I work a desk job by day and pull second shift as a cat butler/bed by night for my three adorable adopted tabbies. I have been a cat-sitter and dog-walker since 2015. I am a huge animal lover, having volunteered with the SPCA's cattery and dog-walking programme as well as ACRES.
Throughout the last 8 years, I have worked with cats who are shy and anxious as well as cats who are aggressive and fearful towards strangers in their home (understandably so!). My 8-year-old cat has aggression and fear issues, so I come from a place of understanding and do my best to minimise stress and make sure that the cat has their needs met when their beloved owner is away. I will work with you to make sure your cat is as comfortable as possible with my presence.
I also have experience working with dogs both large and small, including dogs with dog-reactivity and leash-pulling issues, puppies who benefit from a little extra training and senior pups who need lots of patience and TLC. For reactive pups, I work with the owner to find a walk timing with fewer people and other dogs around, and use treats or praise to redirect the dog away from other people/dogs if we do encounter them.
I am a huge believer in positive behavioural reinforcement and never punishing an animal in the process of training and working with them. I have clicker trained my cats to come and sit and also assisted in training clients' dogs in basic obedience. I'd be happy to reinforce what your pet has learned in my sitting/walking sessions with treats and much praise so that they can retain those important lessons! I also have experience administering oral medications, topical treatments and special diets/supplements for those pets that need it.
If you choose to engage my services, you can rest assured that your little ones will be in good hands. I will provide updates of indicators of wellbeing (appetite, stool and urine, energy levels and mood) as well as lots of photos of course (as I am sure you will be missing each other). Drop me a message and I would love to discuss the care of your pet(s) with you!

We engaged Alison for a short assignment whilst we were away. Knowing the character of our furkid, it was initially hard for us to leave him in the care of another, but we’re pleased to find that our furkid and home were in great care with Alison throughout our absence.
We have communicated certain expectations for our furkid such as:
- using loving language and encouragement to attempt interaction/ playtime
- attempting small steps of clicker training
- maintaining authority while being respectful of furkids boundary.
Whilst my furkid was resistant to change and a stranger initially, happy to know he slow-blinked at her when her assignment was over- that is definitely appreciation from my furkid too!
Afterall, it takes communication to build a good relationship and I think Alison takes into great consideration our pre-communicated objectives. We could tell that she’s explored different ways to engage our furkid as well- this built on her own personal experience with cats, together with our understanding to our furkid. It was also great working with her as she’s open to feedback on the go.
Glad to have Alison over anytime and will definitely re-engage 😊 Thanks Alison!
Alison is a great sitter! Helped to take great care of our pups while we were away for an appointment. Communication was clear and she was very punctual, she went further to come slightly earlier to familiarize our pups before the session. would definitely engage again!
