Our family
I'm currently working full-time in hospital as a doctor. My family (including my parents and our helper) all help take care of your furkids, so drop off and pick up timings are very flexible and there is someone always home. We've been doing this since 2016 and we're happy to say that we've made many new friends along the way.
My parents and helper are elderly so we prefer having only 1-2 dogs at any time. We sometimes have our frequent customer over on the weekends (Poco, see my pets) who is very friendly.
Our home
Our house includes a large front yard with grass, and a small backyard and an outdoor kitchen. All dogs sleep in the outdoor kitchen at night (tiled and sheltered), where they can access "toilet facilities" in the backyard. We love to have them play indoors, but only under supervision. This is to prevent accidents like chewing wires, toilet accidents or damaged property from happening.
Our services
We live 5 minutes from West Coast Park and 20 minutes from the off-leash dog park within West Coast Park, where dogs can run and play. Due to my working hours, I offer only evening walks. Dog washing services are available upon request (only for short-haired dogs - I do not have the equipment to blow dry long haired dogs).
We do not provide food or shampoo for your pets. This is to prevent unplanned allergic reactions and to avoid confusion about dietary needs. Your furkid should feel at home with us.
Our customers
We currently only accept small to medium size neutered and vaccinated dogs to provide best service. We are unfortunately unable to handle big dogs. Due to their cunning and ability to scale our gate, we do not accept cats either, sorry!
For optimal service, we care for 1-2 dogs at a time. If there should be overlap (especially during peak periods), we will contact you before accepting a second pet. Repeat customers take priority.
Points for owners
Useful information you should provide include:
- your regular vet and relevant medical history
- food routine (including storage of food if not dry kibble)
- walk routine (if any)
- emergency contact number
In cases of emergency we will bring your furkid to a 24h vet if necessary. Bills exceeding $250 can be claimed from Pawshake's insurance.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
