Doggy Day Care

I have a Singapore Special with typical characteristics of being wary of people, not friendly with other dogs and skittish. Tried Day Care. Jocelyn was able to accommodate my timing and send many many updates and pictures of my dog. it was nice to see my dog lying next to her golden retriever..both calm. I think my dog was more upset with me than happy when I picked her from day care. Glad I found a dog sitter for my dog. highly recommended. I prefer apartment setting to mimic our home setting and not having too many dogs at any 1 time. Best part it's Jocelyn who looks after your pet and not the helpers at some home settings.

There’re dog lovers, and, there’s an innate love for dogs. We assume all dog sitters are at least the former. 1st day at Pat’s, Luna made her usual “boss-girl” arrival by being inquisitive (a.k.a intrusively kaypoh, if we were to put it bluntly) and sniffed every corner of Pat’s place, almost marked her tatami, nipped her tatami pillow, all within minutes of being there. Pat’s instinctive reaction shows an innate love for dogs. No hesitation, no “oops” or “uh-oh” and curiously amused (at what Luna was up to). This immediately had us at ease. We trust instinctive responses, it’s speaks volumes. And the one we felt and observed is something we as pawrents always hope for whenever the furkid meets anyone for the first time. It’s something unspoken and magical. The loving engagement and bonding that follow after between Pat & Luna was organic and visibly fulfilling for both. It’s not intentionally effortful, but something you can trust to operate at any care-level the situation requires. While chemistry can be uncontrollably selective. Care and attentiveness from a sitter who has this innate love for dogs will be for all under their care. Any pawrent can absolutely trust their furkid to such a sitter. And Pat is one of those.

Frequently asked questions

Your doggy day care questions answered

What is doggy daycare?

Doggy daycare is day time care for your dog in the sitter’s home. Depending on the sitter you choose, you can also opt for specialised puppy daycare instead.

Is doggy daycare good for my dog?

Doggy daycare is great for giving your dog additional enrichment instead of leaving them alone during the day. For puppies, they would especially benefit from puppy daycare while they are learning to socialise.

Who will be providing dog day care for my dog?

Pawshake only accepts sitters who have experience and/or qualifications caring for pets. You will get to search, choose and have a free meet and greet with your dog daycare sitter prior to making a booking.

Will the doggy daycare sitter keep me posted about how my pet is doing?

Yes, your doggy daycare sitter will send you daily text and photo updates through Pawshake or your preferred choice of communication. This is included as part of your booking and there is no additional cost required.
