Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a dog breeds of my own, including Shar Peis, Labradors, Bulldogs, and French Bulldogs. I understand that each dog has its own personality and needs, and I’m confident in handling both playful pups and more reserved companions. I also do volunteering in SPCA during my free time for the cat shelter.

My passion for animals goes beyond dogs – I also adore birds and enjoy the calm and joy they bring. I’ve had pets most of my life, so caring for them feels second nature to me. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away, i love being with animals.

I’m available for part-time pet sitting, dogs or cats walking. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and kind to look after your furry (or feathered) friend, I’d love to help!

ABOUT ME
Hello! I’m Cheryl, a longtime dog lover who would love to meet your pup! My experience includes running a dog hotel and fostering dogs for a local shelter. I have also worked in a positive training school and completed puppy + intermediate training courses, with plans to finish my studies to become a certified professional dog trainer. I currently have one dog – Bailey, my Singapore Special princess who I foster-failed from SOSD.
With over a decade of experience living with and caring for dogs, I have developed a good understanding of their behaviours and needs. I love taking the time to get to know each dog and appreciate their individual unique personalities. I am committed to providing the best care and attention to each dog entrusted to me, and I always prioritize their safety and well-being which is also why I learnt canine first aid.

SERVICES
Dog walking: Walks can be tailored to suit each dog’s needs (short potty breaks, sniffing walks, longer walks etc).
Dog sitting: Currently I am unable to provide boarding services at my residence. However, I am more than happy to look after your dog at your home, where they will also have the added benefit of being in a familiar environment and therefore feel more at ease.

Prior to any bookings, it is best to do a meet and greet to get to know your dog and ensure that we are a good fit.

*additional charges may apply for locations outside Bukit Batok

As a fellow animal lover, I have helped many friends to dog sit and went out on many walks with their dogs. I would love to help you out and have a good walk with your doggo when you need!
Sometimes, I also like to study the behaviour of dogs through educational videos so I am able to read the signs they are giving me about how they feel. So do trust that your doggo will be in good hands
Dogs are usually quite friendly and playful around me and I'll be sure to give your pet a good time when I bring them out for walks or come in to check on them. I am an animal lover through and through and I would love to be there for you if you need any of the services I offer! I will be sure to note down anything that I need to know about your pet and ensure that your pet's safety and wellbeing is of my utmost priority! Please feel free to reach out and ask me any questions and I'm happy to lend a hand!

I have always been a cat lover since forever and I used to have 2 foster cats. I miss taking care of cats so I would love to help out fellow cat parents by taking care of their cats while they are away so that they can have a peace of mind knowing their cats are in safe hands! I am comfortable with multiple cats household and can provide playtime and minimal grooming such as brushing and cleaning of ears. I am meticulous with basic house cleaning, vacuum and tidying. Do be assured that your house will be kept clean, neat and safe for your cats. Occasionally, I will help my friends cat sit when they are away and I enjoyed it. Now that I am on part time work, I have more time to do this more regularly. I am available to cover areas in Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Batok.

I’m Xin Ru, 18, currently working pt at a doggy daycare center as well! I’ve always loved dogs and other animals, which led me to raise my own medium-sized dog until it passed from old age a few years ago. I’ve had experience walking big and small dogs for both long and short distances!
Caring for and playing with dogs brings me so much joy, and my current work has motivated me to become a pet walker due to its flexibility and the health benefits for both me and your pups. I can handle dogs of all sizes, big or small, and will tailor the walks to your preferences.
Even though I might seem young, I promise I’m up for the task and will give your furry friends the walks they deserve to keep them happy! I offer dog walking services in the West area, preferably in Chua Chu Kang, Yew Tee, Bukit Gombak, Bukit Batok, Bukit Panjang, or Jurong East. While my schedule isn’t fixed, I’ll find time to meet your pet’s needs!

I have always had a deep love for animals, pet sitting allows me to turn that passion into a meaningful service. I used to have all kinds of animals at home but now I only have two cats at home, so I understand how much pets mean to their owners and the level of care they require.
I have experience walking dogs for a month, which has helped me develop skills in handling different breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. Whether your dog needs a long walk, playtime, or extra attention, I make sure they feel happy and cared for while you're away.
At this time, I am not opening my home for pet sitting, but I am happy to care for pets in their own environment where they feel most comfortable. For the safety of all pets, I do require that they are up to date on vaccinations. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!

Hi, I am Timothy. I spend two years in NS as a dog handler and a dog medic in the Police K-9 unit. I am able to clip nails, bathe&groom, trim fur, brush dog’s teeth, clean their ears of wax, check for skin conditions, check for cancerous lumps, nurse a injured dog back to recovery eg cuts, wounds, sprained legs, ezema. I also can train dogs to do Basic commands like sit, stand, stay, come and to heel nicely while walking beside you. I love working with dogs. Dogs have the purest of hearts and they will never betray you. Dogs have emotions and hence they are able to connect so much with us humans. I am looking forward to working with dogs again as I kinda miss it ever since I ORD. I would love to share what I learnt from working with dogs from the K-9 unit. I have work closely with the vet and many dogs hence I have experience of a lot of the common problems dogs in Singapore face and I am excited to learn more as I venture in to this service line. I am able to provide specialised services for a reasonable price and I am devoted to provide the service to the best of my ability. It is my dream to work with dogs again.

Hello there! I am currently on a sabbatical break from the corporate world and I am new to Pawshake community.
I have prior experience in cat sitting for friends, and fostering rescued cats from close friends in the cat community.
I do basic grooming for my own cats and fosters, from ear cleaning, nail clipping, wet shower, medicine feeding from liquid to pills, wound cleaning.
I adopted 2 cats 4 years ago and own a marine fish tank.

Currently my schedule and location are flexible, do feel free to reach out to me to discuss any details, concerns or requests that you may have.

House Visits: I can spend up to 2hrs to feed, walk and play with your fur kids. However, do note that there will be additional charges if there is more than one furkid.
Before a booking is confirmed, I would like to meet up with you to get to know your furkid to ensure that both you and your furkid are comfortable with me.
As I do have my own furkids, thus would strictly prefer to care for furkids that have been fully vaccinated and are up to date with their vaccinations, and expect that your furkids to be free from ticks and fleas. Please also let me know in advance if they require special care and/or medical attention. Thank you!

hello! i'm a 19 year old girl who loves animals. throughout my life, i've had many different types of pets. i want to be able to earn money while giving love and care to pets! i also understand the struggles of not having anyone to take care of my pet while i'm gone. so i hope to be able to offer the best care like i would want for my cats too :)
i own two cats and throughout the time and years taking care of them, i learn to understand more about their behaviours.

being a cat owner myself, i know about the potential hazards for cats and i know how to take care for them. i believe i will do a good job in ensuring the cat feels comfortable and providing them with their needs and wants.

on a typical day, i would ensure that every cat i meet gets comfortable with my presence before trying to engage with them. i would play with them, and pet them (if they allow) and maybe feed them treats to get them even more comfortable with me. before i leave, i will ensure to clear the cat litter if needed. throughout the day, i will take photos and updates for the owner to show them how they are doing. at the end of the day, i really wish to provide care and love to cats as i would want the same for mine.

I truly believe that our pets are just like our babies. Nothing makes us pet owners happier than knowing our fur babies are happy and nothing makes us sadder when they are not doing well. I have had taken care of animals all my life since childhood. Starting with hamsters, terrapins, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, and yes, of course, dogs. I have a basic dog grooming certificate and a WSQ certificate in Pet Care and Management (Companion Animals). I took up these courses because it seemed necessary in understanding further on how to care for our fur babies better. I used to manage a pet-friendly restaurant where I met and cared for different fur friends. Ranging from birds, to snakes (go figure haha) to yes, dogs. Some of the photos in the gallery are from my days at the restaurant. The fur parents kept coming back to the restaurant, becoming regulars because yes, their fur kids loved the place so much. I left my position there to pursue full time studies. During this time, I had a senior dog, beloved Asha, who has passed on since then. The girl loved long walks and always perked up at the smell of curry, so during shower and nail cutting time, dog-safe curry was made especially for her. A treat just for being the good girl that she was. After she crossed the rainbow bridge, the house seemed empty and so I volunteered for Save our Singapore Dogs. I fostered a 15 year old palliative care dog who happened to have a battery of issues so it is round the clock (and I do mean round the clock) care for him. His last days were spent listening to music which I learned within the short period he was with me, he loved. Going for short walks (old dude tire out easily), and getting lotsa massages to alleviate his muscle and joint discomfort. He happened to be blind too and I have had experience with special needs dogs before so I could carter to him. Small things like physical markers, verbal cues etc helped make his days easier and happier. My windows are fitted with grills that meet Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) guidelines and the living room has ample floorspace for furkids to lounge around/play at. There are also traffic free parks nearby (the parks are not on the street level) where furkids can have fun sniffing around and exploring. Regular updates (every 3 hours or so) will be given via photos and videos and of course, a checklist of how they've been eating, drinking, what they have been doing, their general disposition etc. I work from home with certain days spent out during meetings (but these are scheduled atleast two weeks prior). Please feel free to contact me for any questions. Every furkid is different so arrangements can be made to accomodate your special, precious ones.
