"Gillian was a great cat sitter! She took pictures to ensure that all was good with Seve, she was meticulous with her food and water in terms of regular feeding, observing any changes in Seve’s eating or behaviour and made sure everything was hygenic when it came to her bowls and litter areas. She also updated me regularly on how she was getting along with Seve and generally made sure I was confident in Seve’s welfare. Will definitely recommend her services any day.

"This is my first time engaging a pet sitter. Usually I send my cats to boarding, but my travel arrangements changed last minute. I contacted Jerlyn after reading her profile and reviews. I need a sitter who can come twice a day and comfortable in administering oral medications. In the initial communication, I gave Jerlyn the background on my cats and outlined things that are important to me. Jerlyn addressed all my concerns and after exchanging several messages she came over for a meet and greet. I felt assured after our meeting that Jerlyn will be able to look after my cats, in particular administering oral medications. Jerlyn sent updates on the cats’ food intake, litter boxes, and meds together with videos and photos in each visit. After a few days my cats (who are scared of strangers) started warming up to her and she spent some time to give them cuddles and play with them, which I appreciate. I also had to extend my travel and was grateful that Jerlyn was flexible enough to accept my extension. Highly recommended and will look to engage Jerlyn again for my next travel. "

"Zac and his wife Vanny were wonderful cat sitters!
I needed a cat sitter last minute as I had to go away on a business trip. They responded to my request quickly, and came by for a meet and greet. My two kitties (usually shy) took to them both quite quickly. I also felt very comfortable with them and knew I could trust them to care for my kitties while I was away.
They were both very communicative, and followed instructions exactly. They sent lots of photos and videos, and spent more time to play with the kitties. They even took the initiative to help remove some “artwork” one of the cats made (the kitties love destroying cardboard boxes). I returned home to two relaxed and happy kitties. I would be more than happy to ask them to cat sit for me again in future!

"May is by far the BEST cat sitter we have ever had, taking care of our three cats over a 10 day period. She communicated often and took fantastic care of our cats. She managed to bond with all three - one is notoriously difficult to bond with and she cracked him! "Pamela is an emphatic and experienced pet sitter. She was very kind and loving to my elderly cat of 18 years. Her years of experience with nursing and caring for animals clearly showed in the way she was able to give my cat sub-cut injections and oral medications. In addition, Pamela was very understanding when we had to cut our trip short and did not need her service for the stipulated period, and even advised that we communicate this to Paw Shake so that we pay only for the service rendered. "Truly a lifesaver. I'd vetted through profiles from Pawshake and Petbacker (which was confusing to me). I also had a flight in 2 days and couldn't find someone reliable that fit our profile - thank god Pat was available.
As it was our first time engaging a pet sitter, she was super accommodating and understanding, and arranged for a meet and greet the night before. We went through the kitties' quirks and feeding schedules, and she took careful notes on what her sequence should be like when she comes over too.
My favourite part was getting pic and vid updates on their food, poop and also super cute pics of the kitties. We could tell they were well taken care of and in good hands, as the kitties were always posing for their pics w bellies up for her hahaha.
One thing to commend on was her genuine concern for the cats. As one of our cats has a heart condition, Pat stayed around and made sure she ate, despite Mira being fussy with food, and her having to wait around a bit more for her food to defrost.
When we came back, the kitties were calm and chill. No separation anxieties or behaviours out of the norm. I attributed that largely to her calming and loving presence w the kitties. Thank you Pat for looking after them like they're your own <3

"Iman has been wonderful! She bravely agreed to look after our four cat babies - which includes two mischievous one-year olds! She bonded with them right away from the meet-and-greet and told us about a family of three cats she was currently looking after. This made us feel we were in expert hands. She diligently followed our detailed care instructions, taking the time to help our slower cats finish their meals. She was very careful around Toto who has Pica - one of our biggest worries. She spent more than the allotted time with them each day, communicating with us if she was going to be a bit late and sent lots of photos.
