Hi!

My name's Jason and I've been with animals ever since I was born (1997). I'm currently a Ph.D. student studying at Singapore for 2 years (arrived on December 2022) under a full scholarship. I'm from Canada.

Motivations:

My motivations are simple: I love animals. I think that they are a blessing in our lives and they deserve the best that we can offer them. Meeting other pet lovers will be great for making friends since I'm still relatively new to Singapore. 

Service description:

I would be available from 6h30 to 21h00 pm during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). I'd also be available on friday nights from 18h00 till 22h00.

I'd like to take your pet(s) for walks. The duration of walks are very flexible: starting from 30 minutes walks up to 3 hour walks.

Note: for long hour walks, I can also provide some water to keep your precious one(s) hydrated. For walking itineraries, I'll make sure to find the best routes.

Additionaly, if your pet(s) has(have) medication that requires them to be orally administered, I can definitely help with that.

I can also teach basic commands, such as name recognition, sit, stay, heel, down and halt before crossing a street.

Pet visits are also something that I could offer. They could stay for 3 hours. If longer times are needed, I'm open to negotiating, and I could also provide overnight stays if needed (from 7pm till 8am). Overnight stays would be for either Friday and/or Saturday. The same applies for house-sitting.

Overall background/experience:

I love pets. I come from a household where we always have 4 animals (2 dogs and 2 cats). One of my dogs is a Great Dane (taller than most humans on hind legs), and I always walk her for 45 minutes in the mornings. I also used to help my father with trimming the fur coat of our other dog (Soft-Coated Weathen Terrier). I'm knowledgable about dog breeds (working dogs, herding dogs, terriers, etc.) and their required levels of activity. I've also had small and medium-sized dogs when I was younger.

I would say that I have good experience, and I stay well-informed when it comes to taking care of your precious pet(s) (especially canines and felines).

I would be more comfortable having only vaccinated pets into my home, but I could be flexible when accomodating non-vaccinated pets. The latter we could discuss, if ever.
